Quiet, clean room in a very pleasant street and safe residential area of west London. Perfect for a short stay. Well connected with the town centre and Heathrow airport. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby.
I have a spare double room, in a charming Victorian house. Perfect for a short stay.
It's located in Ealing - a very pleasant and safe residential area (it's fine to walk in the streets at night here).
The room isn't very large, but is warm and bright and has been recently redecorated. It can accommodate up to 4 people, 2 on the bed and 2 on an air mattress. For 4 people it will be packed, but doable and price for four should make it up :)
Ironing board and iron available
European power adapter
Electric kettle, tea, coffee, biscuits
Smoking is allowed in the garden
Guests can use the kitchen after prior agreement and usually when I'm in. You will need to clean after yourself and have your own cooking ingredients.
Travel zone 3, well connected, 30 minutes by tube to the centre, 3 tube lines, buses, trains, easy access to Heathrow airport.
Tube stations: Ealing Broadway (Central and District lines), South Ealing (Piccadilly line) - both within the same distance (7-8 minute walk). The Piccadilly line goes to the centre and Heathrow.
National trains from Ealing Broadway to Heathrow, Oxford, Windsor etc.
You can check the Transport for London website here: (website hidden) - with travel times and all means of transport.
I am happy to have a chat and drink with my guests, but don't feel obliged to do so.
A little bit of history: the house was built in 1846 and the shed in the garden used to be a laundry serving the area. The nearby streets show well preserved Victorian and Edwardian architecture when Ealing developed and at which times was called the queen of suburbs!
Room, toilet, bathroom.
Kitchen - usually when I'm in (use of the kitchen after a prior agreement).
Internet - free WiFi.
It depends on my work and social calendar as well as how much time the guests spend at home. I'm always happy to have a chat, give directions how to get around the town etc.
Safe, green residential area, small quiet street and quiet neighbours.
Yes, 3 tube lines to the centre, plenty of buses. Also trains to Oxford, and other towns.
Good connection to Heathrow (tube and train).
My place is in zone 3.
On average it takes 30 minutes to get to the centre.
Tube stations are within 8 - 10 minute walk (this is near as for London).

Magda's place is clean and cute, a typical small Victorian house with all its charms, narrow stairs and corridors but once you're up on the first floor, the room is bright and spacious. It's a great location as it's close to the trendy area of Ealing Broadway and easy to access central London by the Piccadilly line. And the best pizzeria in West London is just around the corner!
The room was really warm and Magda gave me plenty of blankets in case the January weather got too bad. The shower in Magda's bathroom is great and plenty of warm water. Obviously, the room is not really meant for a long stay but as I was house hunting in the area I just needed a place to sleep, wound up being there 6 nights and Magda gave me good tips and was very helpful in every way. Good value for money!
Perfect stay. Magda is a very iterating and bright person as well as a flexible and friendly host. She is full of knowledge and advice to help you around on your visit. The location is really quaint and the room is warm, comfy and neatly decorated. You won't go wrong. Good links to and from central London. Go ahead and book - you will love it. Thanks Magda and hope to see you soon.. :)
The house is really clean and warm, and obviously in a house victoriana.Está well connected via underground and Magda is very friendly and helpful. If I had to put a defect that would be missing a closet for clothes, but there is space dedicated to do it. Otherwise we had no problem and it is highly recommended.
Room is very lovely. It was great for price, just what we needed. It was very clean. With piccadily line this room is very close to everything. There is Sainsbury's on way to underground station, which is great for breakfast. There were three of us, room is small but we had enough space. Magda was very nice and she gave us possibility to use both bathrooms. While we were there she didn't slept in her room, so we could normally use bathrooms. She gave us our privacy and we appreciate it. Thank you Magda :)
We spent three nights at Magda's house. The room is clean and confortable, the area is very quiet. It's nice after spending the day in the center. The house is near buses and underground station, it's simple to go to the center. And, above all, Magda is very very nice, she makes you feel at home and always have good advices. So, just go !
I had a lovely 2 weeks at Magda's place. The room is perfect - clean, comfortable, and private. The location is really convenient in a safe, quiet neighbourhood - the train station is less than 10mins walk, but there's a 24hr bus service just down the road which goes to the station if you don't fancy walking (or if you want to visit the gardens at Kew, which is well worth a visit while you're in the area).
Magda is an absolutely delighful host - we had some great chats, and some very drinkable wine ;) I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - highly recommended :)
I stayed one week at Magda's home. It was on a calm and just next to the university. The room is nice and Magda very sympathetic ! The only dark point was the bed not very comfortable.
My two peers and I stayed with Magda for two nights while we began our study abroad journey. We found her place on airbnb and were instantly drawn in. I'm so glad we made the decision; her home is quaint, clean and beautiful and Magda is so sweet! We had tons of luggage with us and she was very accommodating. I had a wonderful time in her neighborhood and would definitely go back!
We stayed 4 nights at Magda's and it was clean, quiet and nice. The only bad surprise is that we had no access to the kitchen (and therefore no access to the garden), contrary to what was written in her ad. So we had to have all our meals out, even breakfast, which increased the costs for us. Before coming, you should ask her and make sure that you can use the kitchen.
My advert clearly says that there is an extra fee for the use of kitchen. The guests didn't book with the kitchen, didn't even enquire about it.
Yes, please ask, ideally before coming to make sure we can work it out. I will amend the price making a special offer (it will depend on your basic price, how many people and how long a stay).
I stayed at Magda Oz place for 3 days with my 10 year old son.
We had a wonderful stay.
Magda's place is beautiful, warm, clean, most convenient.
it is near by tube and bus station, and very easy to get to Heathrow from there.
Magda is a wonderful host. Very reliable, friendly, helpful.
It is very easy to get to the centre of London from her place, yet the price is very reasonable.
