Mary was a great host, meeting me punctually at the agreed time and providing keys and Wifi promptly. Was out most of the time as I was exploring Barcelona, and I only needed a place to crash, overall had a great experience with all the things I needed. The flat is centrally located, close to the underground so it a great base to explore. The room was as described, and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if needed.
Very convenient location. I was there for the marathon and one couldn't be better located for the expo, start and finish (in Barcelona they are all in the same place) - five minutes from the flat (if that!). From the flat you could walk to everything in Montjuïc and it's very easy to get anywhere else in Barcelona (Plaça d'Espanya underground stop is just there). Extra points for the ease (and cheapness) of getting to and from the airport.
I had a wonderful stay with Mary and Starsky, they stayed up late to let me in (I made arrangements before booking) and Starsky even gave me directions before running out the door to work. The description was accurate, the rooms were small but fantastically clean and the location was perfect - about a 5 minute walk to Placa de Espanya.
Very cute and small apartment with a good location between Placa de Espana and the Fira Europa.
Small room but ok for the price. The matrass was a bit too soft for me, however nothing to complain about.
Staying and Starky's was great. Whether you choose to walk around or take public transportation in Barcelona, the apartment is conveniently located to many sites and attractions. In terms of living, the bedroom was simple, the apartment had all the basic needs one could use, and hanging out in the living room was very relaxing and enjoyable. Starsky was very easy to talk to, helpful, and funny. Mary also seems nice. I would reccommend staying here for the price and good company.
