Starsky was a great host and had a friendly personality. He made sure I knew where everything was and his home was clean and comfortable.
I would recommend this place to anybody traveling to Barcelona.
Thank you Starsky!
Starsky was a very helpful host. For the price, the room was OK, although I would have appreciated an actual picture of the room I was in and not the living room, which is pictured. The neighborhood is nice: it's not too far from the center of town.
Over all, it's a good and inexpensive place to stay.
Just a hint to help you in the future. It is very important to read the full description and actually look at all the pictures. By your comments, it appears you only looked at the first picture. We have about 10-15 pictures posted and a picture of the room you rented is indeed included!
Very happy with my first Airbnb experience here, location and price were just what I was looking for. Starsky was friendly and easy to talk to and explained everything I needed to know about the place right away and concisely.
Starsky was very helpful and gave me important information about the city. He recommended some good restaurants and he is located in a fantastic central location. I would stay here again.
Good location to base yourself from.
Apartment and facilities are clean and tidy.
Small room but has everything you would need and most importantly, is clean. Easy location to get around Barcelona with metro or bus. Would recommend
I was going to be in Barcelona for a couple of days by myself before my friends arrived so was a little nervous. I am an older traveler (62!) and just wanted a room and bed and convenient and clean. It was all those things, small room and single bed but just right for me and the price obviously can't be beat. The rest of the apartment is open to the visitors and I enjoyed meeting the couple from France in one room and the young man from Slovakia? in the other. Starsky was there to meet me and the directions from the airport by bus were very easy to follow. I met Mary later and had a lovely visit with her, they both gave me advice on places to go and how to get there. I took the bus, rented a bike one day and took a boat ride all before my friends got to town. There is only one small bathroom so you may have to wait your turn but all in all for the price, convenience and nice people, I would definitely recommend!! Looking forward to a return to Barcelona when I can stay longer and venture farther out...

About the Host, MaryStarsky
I'm from Portland ,Oregon, USA and I've been living in Barcelona since June 2011. I studied a master's degree in Translation Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) and am currently working as a freelance translator/english teacher.
My interests include, yoga, hiking, camping, cooking, soccer, dancing, el Camino de Santiago, running, foreign languages, and of course, world travel. I couldn't pick a favourite place in the world, there are too many wonderful things to see and experience; however, next on my destination list is the Annapurna Circuit Trek in Nepal.
My husband Starsky is from Colombia and works as an architect here in Barcelona. His passions include 3D printing, programming, robots, music, running, hiking and chatting with interesting people.
We're Looking forward to meeting more travellers from all over the world!
