The space
This historic home has the charm of Colonial life with the amenities of modern living. The front entrance view hosts a sweeping stairway leading to a wide hallway where guests are welcome to take advantage of the Peloton bike or using the stretching mats to relax after a spin or run. The first King guest bedroom is spacious with a closet, dresser, nightstands, lamps and mirrors. The antique fireplace showcases flameless candles for ambiance, however, the fireplace is for show only. Across the hall is a half bath with a shared laundry area.
The ensuite Queen bedroom hosts a massive armoire, a sitting table with mirror, nightstands and an oversized antique display shelf. The flameless candles at the fireplace create a romantic ambiance, however, the fireplace is for show only.
Across the hall the Master King Suite offers a wall to celling mirror, a lazyboy relaxation chair, nightstands and large closet space. The heater inside the fireplace is electric and can be used as needed, however the fireplace is for show only. There is a two bowl sink with a separate bathroom that hosts glass shower doors and a soaking tub.
In the main hall you have the choice of a TV/Library room with a wall mounted smart TV and comfortable overstuffed furniture. The electric heater inside the fireplace is available as needed, however the fireplace is for show only.
Across the hall is the dual his/her parlor with a working gas fireplace, reclining chairs, an oversized couch and bar cart. A large antique glass top desk is available for a workspace where you can also sit and read as you relax.
The dining room offers a handmade 8.5 ft table that seats 10. Inside the buffet you'll find every linen imaginable to table placement.
The sitting area of the kitchen bridges the space between the dining room and the kitchen where an island with seating offers a place to sit with morning coffee or to chat while the cook creates a meal from the garden (when in season).
The back of the house opens to a large patio. Affectionally referred to as the Queens Quarters, this oversized room is the wine and whiskey lounge. We offer specialized tastings along with an accompanying gourmet wine dinner (upon request).

Guest access
There are five access doors, however, we prefer that guests enter through the back door leading into the kitchen. The front door may be used to come and go while on the property but should be locked from the inside when not at home. There are three access French doors in the wine room, however, only one door is available for guests to use. Entering and exiting through the kitchen door is the required use for maintaining the security of the property.

Other things to note
In season the garden is open range. Feel free to pick and eat from it as my guest. If you're inclined to do some weeding, the hoes are stacked along the fence or are in the shed. But since this isn't a working AirBnB, you'll probably want to sit a spell on the porch swing with a sweet tea and watch the butterflies flutter about or the birds sing a love song.
If you brought your puppy, please be sure to pick up your fur baby's poop. There's a pooperpickerupper hanging on the back fence. Please place the dog pooh in appropriate bags and place them inside a trash bag in the bin. The backyard is fenced (be sure to keep the side gate locked), so your pup doesn't need a leash. If you're taking a leisurely walk with your dog, be sure to use a leash (and carry poop bags just in case).
