Our home is very comfortable and casual. We are 2 blocks from the San Clemente Pier, where you can surf, lay out, and have a sunset dinner, or even an early breakfast right on the beach! Also you can walk up the strip and shop in antique stores, boutiques, and garden house shops. You will be steps away from a variety of nice restaurants, cafe's and bars with live music. If you love to surf we are close to popular surf spots like Trestles, Churches, Doheny, and Laguna Beach. We have a library & community center one block from our home and on Sunday mornings the Farmers Market is right outside our front door. Also the first Sunday of the month we have an art fair where the entire strip is filled with local artist. I have high speed internet services for your lap tops, and cable TV is also available. I live with my 19 year old daughter who writes her own music, plays the guitar, and has been known to serenade our guest on request. We are both busy in our own lives and would like to open our home to those who are traveling and want to experience San Clemente in the heart of the city.
I do work from home so my living room is my sanctuary and where I make it happen. Our home is perfectly located for walking to the beach and shopping.
The Metrolink, Amtrak, & Coaster is right down the street from my home on the beach. It doesn't stop at the San Clemente Pier very often so North Beach or the San Juan Capistrano Station are options and I am willing to pick you up from any of those areas.
The have available is actually my daughters room, but since she does not stay here as often as I would like her to we are opening it up for travelers. I am not looking for any long term stays unless there are special circumstances that fits in my life style.
No Washer and Dryer on Property
You are welcome to eat here I always provide breakfast food like milk, cereal, eggs, bread, cream cheese, and if I cook you are always welcome to eat with us. Very casual setting here. If you have any questions or concerns please contact me.

Super safe, clean, and friendly

Teresa is a great host and she will help you to find anything you need and show you some nice beach of California too !
Her daughter is nice too , sometime she come to the apartment and she is a really good singer and guitar player !
I really enjoy my time in San Clemente , Thank you again Teresa !
Hope to be back again as soon as possible !
Had no chance to book early. Really surprised with fast reply. In less than hour booked and got to the place. Teresa is awesometastic host you've ever met. And the place is really two steps from the ocean. Must visit!
We had terrific time in San Clemente, and Teresa's place is perfectly located for this. We really weren't around very much as we were out all day. But the apartment is close to the pier and beach, comfortable, clean and homey. Teresa was very hospitable. We would stay there again! One comment: parking is difficult in the immediate area, but Teresa was very accommodating in reserving street spots for us with her car so that when we came back late at night we did not have to cruise for parking.
My 22 year old son who is visiting from Italy actually stayed with Teresa for a week had a really wonderful time.
I think now he is hooked on San Clemente after Teresa showed him all the lovely places to see.
California will probably be his new home very soon.
I can only thank Teresa for amazing hospitality if this dream were to come true.
The apartment looked exactly like the pictures and we had a great time at Teresas place. The location cant be beat....just a few minutes walking to the pier, the restaurants and shops.
Teresa is a supernice host and very relaxed and easygoing. The bed was comfy and we enjoyed our stay
Teresa was a lovely guest. I enjoyed San Clemente very much and it was great to stay in a nice, clean place I can only recommend.
Thank you very much.
We had a really nice time in San Clemente. Teresa is really welcoming and she gives you great tips about the area. The house is very well located (near San Clemente Pier) and very clean.
Go for it !
Teresa was really lovely, and welcomed us into her home even though we only managed to book a few hours in advance. Her home is beautiful and very clean, and she was so helpful providing us with useful tips about the area. I would recommend Teresa's place to anyone looking to stay in this area.
Teri was a fantastic host. Welcomed me into a clean beautiful space and even served me up a wonderful salad with some of the best ingredients ever as I was starving as soon as I arrived. Teri's place is very centrally located, just around the corner from the local yoga studio, wine tasting room, and a few walking blocks from the beach and pier. I felt right at home as soon as I arrived and enjoyed my quick overnight stay. Teri is very sweet and accommodating and has become not only a host but a friend in my book!
I had high expectations of staying at Teri's place; unfortunately those expectations were not met. At first Teri appeared to be very hostful as she picked me up from the airport and drove me to the food store so I could pick up some groceries. My stay at her place was from April 10-16th. She told me via email a few days before that she would be moving on the 15th and I told her it was not a problem as I was leaving super early the next day to go back home. The move in reality pretty much started when I got there and I felt as though my privacy was constantly being invaded. She was constantly knocking on my door looking to gain access, moving all my stuff on a daily basis, and put food of mine in the fridge that didn't require refridgeration. Almost every night there was noise pollution from either a verbal discourse or her yelling at her feline. As the days went on, I began to lose my patience and felt as though I was being taken advantage of. I even went along with the move only to be told that "there was a Starbucks down the street" (which in reality was quite a hike) after I asked if she could bring the tea pot to the new apartment! I was livid and told her I was fed up with her behavior and needed to move asap. Luckily a kind friend took me in and hosted me for the remainder of my stay. I didn't end up losing any money as Teri gave my remaining rent to my second host. In conclusion, I feel that my experience was less than stellar. The apartment is in a good location but the host was sadly not. Also, this experience has not soured me in any way to using Airbnb or the city of San Clemente. Both are great! I do feel that hosts who use Airbnb should be required to show proof of ownership in regards to their domicile I believe this situation wouldn't have been as poor if the host was a property owner.
In response to Miranda's review. Yes I did move quite quickly which was unexpected. I was under the impression Miranda would be out surfing, doing yoga, and site seeing while she was here and she would not be affected as I moved during the early parts of the day. She spent a lot of time in the home rather then out and about as she lead me to believe through our extensive emails and communication. During the move which I did not expect to move until the end of the month but life was in session and I had no choice. It was a bad choice on my part to have a guest at this time. I did set up the bedrooms and kitchen in my new place first, which was three doors down, so she was set up and comfortable!! I did offer right away for her to go down to my friends place which is closer to the beach and calmer under the circumstances. It did get to that point and I did set her up there and paid for it. Also she wanted me to go to the other house to get a coffee pot (in the middle of me moving furniture) while there were pots and pans in the kitchen that could boil water for her tea, so yes I told her there was a Starbucks up the street and there is two blocks away ( I was under a lot of pressure). I don't yell at my cats so I have no idea what that was about. Miranda was hosting food in my bedroom rather then the kitchen, which for me was unacceptable. Open bananas, trash bags full of food and other items I prefer not to mention. Also she had many phone conversations on the phone in a loud manner while trashing HER OWN friends and all my neighbors could hear it all. I did ask her to keep the conversation on the down low. I am sorry that her experience was less then stellar. Yes I did pick her up at the airport (which was over an hour each way and was at 6am) and took her shopping at the grocery store and to buy hot food as well. Not a big deal, I would do that for any of my guest. Also she and my roommate became great friends and she created havoc in that situation for me as well. Overall not a great experience. I don't like daily drinking, smoking, etc. My home is my haven and I felt I was compromised in many ways.
