About this listing
This is a private room in a family home located on five wooded acres. Located just outside of Olympia, this is an ideal location at the gateway to the Olympic Peninsula and the Washington Coast. A great place to stay if you are visiting The Evergreen State College, or a quiet retreat for those visiting Olympia.
The room is furnished with treasured antique furniture I recently restored. The iron bed has a feather bed and lofty comforter to make for a cozy rest. Wi-fi and a large private bath will make your visit even more comfortable.
Our driveway is a bit steep, but don't worry, we will send you some navigation tips in the House Rules after you make a reservation.
I have lived in the area for a number of years and can recommend parks, hikes, restaurants and other local areas of interest.
There will be a light breakfast ready for you with fresh fruit, whole grain bread, and trimmings.
No smoking please. The closet is not for guest use. :)
Wetotally enjoyed staying with you Marion and appreciate your chats! Was good communication throughout the process while we were traveling in coming in late and you being cool with it all! Thank you for being a great host!
Our host was very accommodating and the room looked exactly like the pictures. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was really nice! We were only here for one night, but got a nice night's rest :)
Marianne was wonderful, and her home is beautiful. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay while we were preparing our wedding up the road. Thanks again for a pleasant stay.
Marianne's home was very cozy and very welcoming. The room was quiet, clean and well lit (in fact, I recommend a sleeping mask! The mornings are bright! :P). The bathroom is right next to the room in a secluded hallway near the front entrance so we weren't at all disturbed while we were there. We got hung up in the city and returned late so we never actually met Marianne but I definitely recommend!
Marianne is a really lovely and friendly person. She uncomplicated and everything worked out perfectly. We stayed just one night and didnt get the chance to talkna lot to her but we enjoyed our stay very much and felt welcome and at home.
I had a great AirBnB experience with Marianne. She's very welcoming and accommodating. It was a perfect resting place after my very busy days (and week). Thanks Marianne.
