About this listing

The space

We live in a large (300-square-meter), beautiful house in Palermo. The architecture is typical of old Argentina - built in 1898, the house is referred to as a "casa chorizo" (sausage house) due to its long, skinny layout. There are six big rooms, each with its own private bathroom. We share a big living-room, a well-equipped kitchen that can be used, a lovely dining room and a beautiful patio with a parrilla. Now we have a new terrace ( 150 square meters) with a winter garden that we use as a living room with a big T.V, DVD! , ping pong table, a perfect place to chill and have fun.
There are 6 rooms in total, 5 of them are free to welcome travelers. The rooms which are rent have all a private bathroom, a wardrobe, a desk, air-conditioning, wifi, and are all big and with a double bed.
Palermo is a very popular neighborhood full of a lot of cultural activities, restaurants (parrillas, sushi, vegetarian food...), and bars. It is centrally located and it is safe. In the surroundings, the access to public transports is easy, we are close to dozens of different bus lines and two subway lines (red and green), that link to almost all the city. There are also supermarkets, pharmacies, and places to learn and dance tango (La Catedral Del Tango...).
By now we are two couples living in: Ceci and I (argentines, 33 and 45 years old; Ceci is a psychologist and I'm a Counselor); Mariana and Elisandro (brazilians, 35 and 40 years old. She's a journalist and translator, he's a photographer). We speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.
From July on, Mari and Eli will be the permanent hosts of the house, and they will be welcoming and assisting you during your stay, they are very knowledgeable of the city and the sweetest couple ever !
Ceci and I will move to another place, however, I'll keep coming all the time and helping in whatever you need.
The spirit of the house is to offer them a place to arrive and feel home, as in their own house. We'll be happy and available to make your stay in Buenos Aires easy.
See you soon!

La regla mas importante es que sean respetuosos de la casa y de la gente que aquí vive! Hay un patio para fumar pero no se permite fumar adentro de la casa.
Se puede usar la cocina siempre y cuando se limpie lo que se usa.

The most important rule is that you be respectful of the house and of the people living here! Oh, and also no smoking indoors, please. We have a patio where you can smoke.
You can use the kitchen always and when then clean what was used. There is a large refrigerator to store the things bought for cooking.

My family rented 4 rooms for 4 nights in this beautiful and authentic 100 year old Argentinian home. It was the perfect place for us to gather as we traveled for our son's wedding in BA. The rooftop terrace is amazing and we spent many nights relaxing up there. The large kitchen and patio area was perfect for breakfast and having a refrigerator was a big plus. Dani and Mariana were great hosts, so warm and helpful to all of us during our stay. They Even helped us with our luggage up all those beautiful stone steps at the entrance. I highly recommend this house to any visitors coming to beautiful Buenos Aires! Thank you Dani and Mariana!!

Daniel's listing was definitely the best decision we could have possibly made for our stay in Buenos Aires. Daniel and everyone else at the house were amazing hosts, and they made us all feel very welcome and comfortable all the time. The house is amazing, even better than what it looks in the pictures. Extremely special and very cozy! The house is amazingly located, and the surrounding area was great. Thanks to Daniel, Cecilia, Mariana and Alessandro for making us feel like home, you are all beautiful people, and my friends and I highly recommend this listing to anyone wishing to have an special experience in beautiful Buenos Aires.

As said in the other reviews, it was a real pleasure to stay at Daniel's place. Everything was exactly as mentioned in the anounce. Moreover they were very warm with us, making our stay in Buenos Aires event better. Though ou short stay I would definetely recommend him to any friend that would visit the city.

A great place to stay in Palermo. Daniel is friendly and organized. There are cafes and restaurants extremely close and the subte is a short walk. 10/10

Daniel was a great host! He gave me and my wife a great overview of things to do in Buenos Aires. The room was exactly what we needed. It was clean, quiet, and spacious. The place is so much better than the pictures show. The neighborhood was in a great spot walking distance to two Subte lines and several buses. Daniels place is also a ten minute walk to the FREE bike sharing system which we used. I highly recommend staying at his place. If we are ever in BsAs again we will contact Daniel 1st thing.

Daniel's place was an amazing "casa chorizo," brightly colored space with a beautiful terrace located on a quiet street (also very safe) within walking distance (20 minutes) to the hipper parts of Palermo. Daniel was incredibly accommodating and was even gracious enough to assist with helping me exchange money. Overall, a great place to stay and would definitely come back again!
