You will love relaxing in our beautiful, unique, yurt shaped house, in a gorgeous quiet spot handy to Byron Bay, Mullumbimby, and Brunswick Heads. We also have a lovely little cabin as an extra room, that has a queen and a single bed in it.
Welcome to our beautiful big modern studio, all timber, with lots of windows and lovely views!
It is shaped like a yurt: round, with an extra rectangular bedroom area.
Inside you will find a very comfortable queen size bed with latex mattress, facing huge concertina glass doors, and a large open lounge/kitchen/dining area. Also there is
a quality single day bed. It has a north facing deck with a bath tub for hot baths under the stars. It's in a quiet spot only a 15 min drive to Byron Bay and 5 min to Mullumbimby. There is also a separate cabin/bedroom with a comfy queen bed and a couch that can also fold out into a large and comfy single bed. We prefer groups of 3 people as a max but will consider larger groups.
WIFI is available and included in your stay, and there is no TV. Smoking outside only and no pets please.
There are lovely friendly neighbours who are our good friends and can help you if you need anything. A lot of the neighbourhood is dairy farmland, rolling rolling hills of beautiful green pasture.
The house, deck and garden will be all yours to enjoy in privacy, including the hot bath on the deck for starlit bathing.
Interaction with Guests
We will be away, and contactable by phone.
Very peaceful. We have one set of lovely neighbours, who are also our landlords, who you may meet, and the rest are cows.
There is no public transport but hitch-hiking is pretty easy. We can also possibly rent you our car, which is a 2004 Nissan X-Trail.
Leave your beds unmade (don't worry about stripping them) leave the house clean, and treat it with love. Smoking outside only. If you break or damage anything please replace it.
Jessie's yurt was exactly as we had expected. The listing was perfectly true to detail. The location was quiet and super peaceful. We had a very relaxing time and didn't want to leave.
The yurt was comfortable, the mornings chilly due to a cold snap in the weather, but the bed was warm & very cosy. Views were lovely & only a short trip into Mullumbimby to visit our daugther & family, so it suited us well.
Such a beautiful place in a stunningly gorgeous location! Quiet and relaxing and exactly what we were looking for.
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable four-night stay at Jessie's place. Nicely located just a few minutes west of the highway, it's only a few km from Mullumbimby, which is a handy alternative to Byron for shops, cafes etc. Byron and all that it offers are an easy 15-20 min drive. Though not big in size, the house has plenty of options to chill out, from the comfy old sofa on the deck, to the even more comfy sofa inside. Not to mention the outdoor bath which is certainly worth a try, especially on a clear night. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom was spotlessly clean and roomy, the large bed was just right. Will have fond memories of this place.

Thank you so much for the wonderful stay in the rolling hills! We loved relaxing on the deck and especially watching the amazing sunset! Wish I could have stayed forever...
We had a lovely, relaxing time at Jessie's yurt. Waking up to light streaming through the big windows, the sounds of birds and frogs, and green hills in the distance, was just what we needed after a busy week. Definitely recommend an early morning outdoor bath too - was lovely soaking in the steaming hot water, eyes shut, smelling the pine cones and feeling the breeze tickle my toes! I reckon it's even better when there's a chill in the air! Thanks for the stay!
