Great place, very comfortable and cozy and excellent location, just a few blocks from the main square. Excellent hosts, I felt very welcome!
GREAT place to stay! Our hosts were wonderful, sweet and kind and you'll want to take Coco the puppy home with you!
Our room was clean and the perfect amount of space for us even with luggage, and we had hot water. The neighborhood was super safe and the view from their roof is amazing!!
We would def stay again!
P.S. Make sure to go to Oragami ( their restaurant), it was amazing!!!
We had an amazing experience staying at Miwa's, she was a great host that took the time out to make sure we were comfortable and had any information we needed to enjoy our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here and if you do, make sure to dine at her restaurant Origami for an amazing meal in Antigua.
Miwa was fantastic, she gave us access to the kitchen for cooking, complete with food for breakfast. The location is very close to the city center and there's an awesome rooftop that you have access to where you can see all the surrounding volcanoes.
We'd also recommend Miwa's restaurant for dinner, it's only a few blocks away!
Lovely experience staying with Miwa. This is our second stay in this comfortable roomy house very centrally located in Antigua.
The hosts and staff are very accommodating and it's fun to meet other travelers who stay here. We are a well travelled couple in our early 60's
We had a delightful stay with Miwa and Kohei in Antigua. They arranged to have a driver meet us at the airport and transport us to their home. We were warmly greeted, shown to our room, and given a tour of the house.
Their home was spacious, clean and centrally located in a safe neighborhood - close to all the amenities. We had access to the entire house and we used the terrance, the patio, the kitchen and the living room to settle in. Coffee, eggs, and bread were provided for breakfast. Communication with the hosts was prompt and courteous.
In sum, a great experience with welcoming hosts.

I am from Tokyo, Japan and currently living in Antigua, Guatemala. I love traveling and meeting new people. I am open to any new ideas.
I was taking a year off to travel around the world starting from Canada, Mexico, Belize, and now in Guatemala. I just fell in love with Guatemalan and non-Guatemalan living in Antigua, beautiful buildings, fantastic natures, and the climate, so I stop traveling and started living here. Hope to share the wonderful experience with you!
