About this listing
Located in the historic district of Eastham, our lovely B&B has the flexibility to offer something for everyone. This spacious B&B is full of light and has the seaside flavor of Cape Cod. We are just steps from the Cape Cod Rail Bike Trail that carries you to either the spectacular beaches of the Cape Cod National Seashore or the tranquil beaches of Cape Cod Bay. Soothe yourself in our outside shower to feel refreshed after a hard day at the beach. Lush gardens and a horse and paddock adds to the large and lovely landscaped yard. Enjoy our gas fireplace in our luxurious living room on chilly nights. There are two bedrooms, one has a queen size bed and the other room has 2 twin beds. One room can be rented with a private hall bathroom with tub and shower. Current pricing applies to one room. For those traveling as either family or friends, the two rooms can be rented as a two room suite with one bathroom for an additional 100.00 per night. Please see other listing to book the suite. We have a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace, TV, and a high speed wireless Internet service. We also have a lovable golden retriever named Chesney. He is not allowed in guest rooms but if you leave the door open he may pop in for a quick visit and steal your socks but he is very sweet:) Summer activities are endless. Whale Watch (April-Oct) or shore whale watch year round. Seals rest on our beaches and frolic in our waters year round. Spring and fall are the best time for birding since the cape is a major fly over for migrating birds. A winter beach walk is amazing especially after a recent snowfall. September is our favorite month to enjoy the cape at its finest. We still have the summer beach weather but the crowds have gone. The air is more crisp and the tranquility after the summer rush is soothing.
We only ask that you relax and enjoy yourself. Cape Cod is a special place during any season. A place we love to share with our guests. We take pride in maintaining our home for our guest to enjoy and relax in. Please be comfortable and just keep it as you find it. The kitchen and living area are common rooms that you will share with us ocassionally, but we have our own private suite. We are onsite to provide you with a continental breakfast, answer your questions and share some local tips.
My significant other and I couldn't have asked for more from Nancy and Bob as hosts for our stay in Cape Cod. They really went out of their way for us, and any time we had questions or otherwise then they were super helpful.
I was concerned for my gf because she doesn't care for pets much, but their golden retriever was a total sweetheart, and surprisingly very calm and relaxed, so this turned out to be no issue at all!
We really felt at ease on our stay, and Nancy and Bob made us feel like we were truly welcomed, rather than strangers in their home. I would recommend anyone to stay with them. Thanks again to you two!
A perfect accommodation for a weekend getaway to the Cape. Centrally located between the bay and the beach and easy access to route 6. Very convenient for drives to other locations such as Provincetown and Hyannis. Even shorter drive to Arnold's (best lobster) and Hole In One (best doughnuts). Walking distance to a beautiful bike path.
Nancy and Bob were fantastic hosts! Very friendly and helpful in providing recommendations for places to see. The entire home was very clean and towels and toiletries were provided. Continental breakfast in the morning was convenient for our early wake ups and traveling. All in all very pleased with our decision to stay (website hidden) - Bonus points for the beautiful dog and new friend Chesney.
A great place to stay for a few days! The room and the bathroom are private, the rest of the house is shared with the hosts. But as they were hardly ever there we had it all for ourselves! Lovely neighbourhood, a great house, close to the bike trials and the beaches! We spend a great weekend at Cape Cod! Nancy and her husband have been very welcoming! Highly recommended!
We stayed at this place for two nights and we really enjoyed it. The house is great. The garden is nice. It's a really quite area. Being woken up by birds' twittering every morning was nice! :)
Chesney is an adorable dog and even Scooter (the small guinea pig in the backyard) should get its mentioning in this review. ;) Everything was great. Thanks to Nancy and Bob for their hospitality. They were responsive, helpful and gave us various tips on what to do. I would definitely recommend this place.
Nancy and Bob were great hosts and their house is fantastic. It was great to meet them and our conversation with Bob during breakfast was very informative. If you are avid bikers, the bike trail is right next to their home and so is the bike shop. Should we revisit Cape Cod, we would not hesitate to go back to their house and highly recommend anyone to stay at their bed & breakfast.
Nancy and Bob were great hosts during our stay on the cape. They were very flexible with check-in time as we delayed our arrival several times during the day. The bedroom is nice but small, but we had exclusive use of the large livingroom (with a huge TV) and we could also use the kitchen and the outside area at any time. The house was clean even though there is a big golden retriver with a fluffy fur whose hair managed to escape from cleaning once in a while.
Nancy and Bob both were helpful with tips on how to get around and we had very nice chats with both of them.
The B&B is located well to explore the beauty of Cape Cod and we can recommend it to everybody.
We really had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay in this wunderfull house! Nancy and Bob gave us many hints about nice places and things to do. We'd love to come back again!

About the Host, Nancy
Bob and I are high school teachers but have many other interests. Bob is a scuba diving instructor and musician and I am a whale watch naturalist. We live with our sweet and lovable golden retriever Chesney and travel whenever we have time to sneak away. We love the tropics and our favorite place is coastal Mexico. We have traveled the Caribbean as well as Central and South America. Life is good!
