We had a really lovely time. Cabin was very remote, well appointed and cozy. Steve gave great recommendations for the area and greeted us with a phone call on arrival. We enjoyed seeing the sights as well as cozying up with Netflix at night. Highly recommend!
Me and my girlfriend booked the cabin without any problem and couldn’t have been happier with it. It was much larger than we needed, as it has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, but we enjoyed the space. We didn’t take advantage of the hot tub or fire pit outside as we weren’t around for the most part, but the cabin was right in the middle of everywhere we wanted to go.
Steve was great and called us the second day of our visit to make sure everything was OK and to offer up some suggestions, which we took and hiked up the nearby Crane Mountain. (Actually, he called a few times the first day, but we were quick to get out and enjoy the day after dropping off our bags).
I would definitely come back to Steve’s cabin in the winter months for the proximity o skiing and, this time, actually use the hot tub. It really is a wonderful space and home.
My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin. Plenty of space. Thoughtfully decorated. The hot tub and fire pit made for fun evenings together. Steve called shortly after we arrived and made sure everything was just right for us -- even giving us tips on activities in the area. We'll be back for sure!
Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful cabin. We had a great time.
I just got back from the cabin, I went during June of 2015 with my boyfriend, we needed to get away from the city. The cabin was perfect, it was cozy and had everything we needed to cook a meal. Steve called us the first day to make sure we were settled, the cabin was easy to locate and it is surrounded by trees, it was very peaceful which is what we wanted.
Steve's cabin was great, easy to find, clean, and he was a great host. Checked in to see if we needed anything and gave me some idea for the area. Would definitely come back! Crane mountain is a great hike!
As advertised, the hot tub under the stars was great. We used it lots. We also were glad to have a charcoal grill for our use. The many hiking trails within walking distance was a bonus. We had a great time on our first trip to the Adirondacks. Steve checked in with us after we had settled....nice touch.
