We enjoyed our visit. Room was comfortable and spacious. Good check in. Highly recommend.
Deborah was a very gracious, kind, and welcoming host. Her description of the home and rental space was accurate and beyond our expectations! We especially loved our time with Deborah, her husband, and her other guests at breakfast in the mornings. We felt at home. We also loved the cozy outdoor space and we loved our time watching the sun on the marsh. The large room where we stayed included a sun room, which was lovely after a day exploring Charleston. The location of the home is perfect - a quick drive to the city and beach access 15 minutes down the road. Our stay in Charleston was made better by the graciousness of Deborah and our time at her home.
My granddaughter and I spent 4 nights with the McNallys and loved every bit of the visit. Staying in their home was like staying with family, and we had never met them before. We rented the area of the house that had a full bath, large bedroom, and a sitting room with a day bed. This was perfect for me and my technology-heavy 14 year old. The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Although located next to a busy road, there is no traffic noise and the scene is calm and peaceful. Debbie cooked us a delicious hot breakfast every morning - blueberry pancakes, English muffins and poached eggs, homemade French toast, individual spinach omlets with sausage. Great coffee. Debbie also recommended places we might like to see and restaurants. We enjoyed talking with the other guests. The location on James Island was literally 5 minutes from down-town Charleston. Access couldn't have been easier. It is a bit difficult to find the blue wall and driveway, especially at night, though Debbie has a plan for improving the ease of access. If we ever go back to Charleston, we definitely want to stay at Lowcountry Living at its Best! Thank you Debbie and Ron for such a lovely visit.
Both Deborah and her husband made us feel right at home since the moment that we got there. Their house is very cozy and clean and they have yummy treats for their guests. It was very relaxing to sit outside and enjoy the view. This place is less than 10 minutes from Charleston. Deborah and her husband were great hosts and were happy to answer all of our questions and talk and hang out with us while respecting our space. We would definitely stay here again!
Very pleasant, clean and affordable place.
Great location, very convenient getting to the downtown area.
Will definetely stay here again.
Deb and Ron were such a joy to stay with! They left very thorough directions and information about check in and things to do, and also have a beautiful house. The room we stayed in had a sitting room connected to a bedroom with our own secluded bathroom. The house is set up to where you can have as much privacy as you want, but the hosts are happy to chat too and are very easy to talk to. Breakfast was delicious. We had individual frittatas one day and blueberry pancakes and bacon and there was a Keurig and always plenty of fruit, cereals and other snacks around as well. The house is in a great location, centrally located between folly beach and downtown and has an AMAZING view of the marsh. We will definitely be coming back!
