We had a wonderful stay at Steve's place. Steve is an excellent host and he really made us feel welcome as we arrived by sharing some tips where to go and what to see around the city. The place was as described, it was clean and the neighborhood was very idyllic. Also the public transportation to downtown Boston and Harvard Sq was very easy and fast.
Non potevamo chiedere di meglio: alloggio meraviglioso, spazioso, pulito, totalmente arredato e con tutti i confort, padroni di casa eccezionali, ottima comunicazione, zona tranquilla ma a dieci minuti da tutte le attrazioni di Boston. Altamente raccomandato. Grazie!
We had a great stay! Steve welcomed us and we were easily able to settle in and begin our weekend. Very interesting and helpful to have a binder for visitors on hand with information about the area and recommendations. Rooms and stay exactly as advertised through photos and descriptions - very clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking for. We would book again!
Steve came by and welcomed me to the home in what is should be, but is no longer a normal occurrence when renting a property. He was a perfect host and the place was exactly as described. I would give the place 5 stars, but not having a functioning kitchen might make it difficult for long trips. Other than that, I loved my stay and would rent again for any of my other short trips.
The home was spacious, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a quick stay. The host, Steve is a kind, unassuming man who made us feel at home and at ease. He had the house heated and ready for our arrival. We accidentally left a kindle, which Steve promptly contacted us about and mailed home. It arrived before we did. Thumbs up for this place.
Married to Diane, the gal in the photo. We came to love airbnb in early 2012. First we rented as a couple, then we tried it with our children. We had great experiences in Germany and Israel. Now we try to offer the same to others, here in Boston.
