Well located room with a single bed. Close to Boston and Cambridge, a 12 minute walk or 3 minute bus ride to the subway that takes you downtown in 12 minutes, a 3 minute walk to a bus that takes you to Harvard Square in 12 minutes (red line) and a 5 minute walk to a bus that takes you to MITin 15 minutes and the Longwood Medical area in 30 minutes. a 5 minute bus ride to Leechmere (green line) and much more
Boston now has a great bike rental system and we have a center a 12 minute walk from us. You can rent bikes using a credit or debit card and use the bikes for a day or more for very reasonable rates. You can return the bikes to the same place or to anywhere there is a center. Pretty cool!
This room is built out of very thin wood and has a plastic accordion door. We made it in response to seeing people renting out their couch for the same price but we thought having privacy would be better. The room is small but has room for hanging and storing clothes, a small desk for your laptop, a single bed, a chair, windows and several lighting options.
There is a living room for you to hang out in. Also a completely functional kitchen for your use with a round table and chairs.
There is a porch for people to hang out on and space for you to store your bikes.
The apartament is in the same house as the other apartament where we sleep and it is our plan to use both. We are readily available to guests and you are welcome to come visit us in our apartment in the same house.. We have lived in the Boston area a long time and can help you (if you need) get around and find fun things for you to do and see.
Please read our reviews and rest assured that it is our aim to be hospitable, very clean and to provide you with an exellent value and the very best airbnb experience possible.
Common curtesy, no drugs or excccesive noise after 11pm. guests can smoke on the porch.
Check in is at 3 but we are happy to receive bags early. We used to allow early incoming guests to shower before going out for the day but it was hectic and the guests that had not checked out felt rushed. Given all this we now only recieve bags.
Parking is by Permit which we provide you to place on your dashboard. It is up to you to follow the rules clearly written on the pass therefore you park at your own risk. We have only had one person get a ticket for not following the rules which are very easy.
Soledad was traveling while I am in his house but he informed me enough about how the house will be cared by his relation. The house was so so clean as you can see in the picture and so cozy. You will fall in love with this house haha.N transportation is really nice from his house! bus goes to station in 3 mins (so u can walk) and go to harvard univ in 20 mins! I was unable to stay at the home because I was getting surgery at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and was unaware of the stairs that were involved to get to my room~ there were 30 steps up and it was not doable with my leg surgery. I was able to see my room and it was clean and given the chance if circumstances were different I would have enjoyed my stay.
Very convenient to bus and subway. The one bedroom apartment had one single bed, well organized and it was fine for the price. Check in was delayed due to owner travel but it was scheduled after text messages exchange with contact person.
This host is super kind. The spaces cozy and warm. I had a great stay. The kitchen is stocked with all types of goodies. Parking is a real issue in Boston. Parking was made easy. I look forward to my next stay.
As always, Soledad's place is lovely. She is warm and welcoming. The beds are soft and cozy. I just melted into the comfy bed last night.

I, Soledad am Chilean and Rodrigo is Colombian. We are social, lovers of all things art, music and travel.
My hispanic upbringing made me hospitable and domestically inclined. I love great food as a social ritual and cooking as an expression of love.
We are open hearted and abhor judgemental people. We love life and find joy in the tiniest of things.
We enjoy experiencing places by meeting "normal" people doing everyday things.
