  • It is a very nice place, clean and neat... I had a very good time at their place. Soledad and Rodrigo are very nice. They provided in advance very detailed tips concerning the transportation, the places to go etc.. It is a pity that they went out traveling during my stay in Boston that we did not meet each other. They are indeed very kind.

  • Nice, neat and quite place. Did not meet the owners because I left very early. They had the room ready for me with details. Will stay them again.

  • I didn't get to meet Soledad and Rodigo as they were away but the place was perfect. It has all the home comfort. So nice to be able to make a cup of tea. Somerville is a convenient location and Harvard is within walking distance.

  • Very nice and clean apartment with all the amenities you need. Arrival and check-in guide was very detailed and helpful. I was sad I couldn't stay longer, definitely recommend to visit Boston and stay at this place :-)

  • I didn't get to meet my hosts since they were traveling. A little bummer since for me this is a large part of the airbnb experience, but I only stayed there for 2 nights so I can understand if you're not available. Though they both did a good job and communicatiing everything beforehand including parking permit, access to the keys, restaurants, public transportation. I didn't missed anything or did not know what to do, so that was great!
The room itself was divided of the living room with light wood walls and a curtain door. Nevertheless it had everything you need. The apartment is large and super clean with a very nice living room/kitchen. Location is a bit off from the center (just look at the map) but I knew that and for this price it was still pretty close. Public transportation to the city center is in reasonable walking distance. Definitely a good place to stay for a lower budget visit to Boston!

  • My stay was great. Soledad was a great host and the house was very clean and well decorated.

  • Soledad runs a cozy home with artistic touches and a good kitchen, and keeps it extremely clean. She was always available with helpful advice and we had several nice chats. My room was a bit small, but was comfortable and got great light. The T (subway) was a ten minute walk, and the commute to downtown was very easy. I'd stay here again anytime. Highly recommended.

  • Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Rodrigo, but I'm sure he is as wonder as Soledad was. Even though I arrived late, and Soledad was not feeling the best, she still managed to make my arrival a breeze. She answered all the questions that I had and and suggested some really good eats around the area. The place was very clean and and comfy and the the other guests were very nice and welcoming. I honestly don't have any complaints. Will definitely stay there again the next time I am in the Boston area.

  • I had a great experience at Boston staying at Soledad place!

  • Such a great find! When I arrived, Soledad was there to greet me, totally warm and more helpful than I even had need for. Super laid-back but also an impeccable hostess, Soledad keeps the place itself spotless and seemed to have thought of everything. My space, the single room, has a ton of window,s so there was a small extra personal heater. I noticed other reviewers mention something about the noise because of the "homemade" nature of this single, so meant to bring ear plugs but forgot: I slept like the dead. Better than I even sleep at home. I think whatever issue there once was is now solved with the ample sound-blocking tapestries surrounding the, as Soledad said, "Artisanal" room. There were even complimentary shampoos and soaps in the bathroom! Really, just a delight. My only wish was that I could have stayed longer.

About
I am Chilean by birth and my husband Rodrigo is Colombian by birth,we are global by nature, social, lovers of all things art, music and travel. My hispanic upbringing made me hospitable and domestically inclined. I love great food as a social ritual and cooking as an expression of love. We are open hearted and abhor judgemental people. We love life and find joy in the tiniest of things. We enjoy experiencing places by meeting "normal" people doing everyday things.
