About this listing
This sunny little room is in a shared apartment with lots of light and common space. Made of thin wood with an accordion door as a more private alternative to couch surfing. A usable kitchen and sitting area are yours to enjoy as you please.
This room is built out of very thin wood and has a plastic accordion door. We made it in response to seeing people renting out their couch for the same price but we thought having privacy would be better. The room is small but has room for hanging and storing clothes, a small desk for your laptop, a single bed, a chair, windows and several lighting options.
There is a living room for you to hang out in. Also a completely functional kitchen for your use with a round table and chairs.
There is a porch for people to hang out on and space for you to store your bikes.
The apartament is in the same house as the other apartament where we sleep and it is our plan to use both. We are readily available to guests and you are welcome to come visit us in our apartment in the same house. We have lived in the Boston area a long time and can help you (if you need) get around and find fun things for you to do and see.
Please read our reviews and rest assured that it is our aim to be hospitable, very clean and to provide you with an exellent value and the very best airbnb experience possible.
The whole apartment is for your use. You are welcome to cook, spend time in the sitting area or the porch
Other things to note
Check in is at 15:00 (3:00). These are the directions to access the keys from 15:00 on:
On the porch of 21 Morton Street you will see a dark mailbox. On the front you will find a little dial. Spin the three numbered dials to the combination (which you will receive upon booking). Open the mailbox and find the envelope with your name. Please only touch the envelope with your name and leave the others in the mailbox. Close the mailbox and spin the dials so that it can no longer be opened. Inside your envelope you’ll find a front door key, an apartment key, and a key for the lock on the door to your room. You’ll also find important information on the apartment and the area. Please read the envelope as some people stay at 21 Morton Street and some people stay around the corner at 156 Glen Street. The Glen Street entrance is a different entrance of the same big house that sits on a corner of both these streets. When you check out please leave your keys in your room and leave your room UNLOCKED. Please get in touch via Air BnB if you have any issues with these instructions.
Common curtesy, no drugs or excccesive noise after 11pm. guests can smoke on the porch.
Check in is at 3 but we are happy to receive bags early. We used to allow early incoming guests to shower before going out for the day but it was hectic and the guests that had not checked out felt rushed. Given all this we now only recieve bags.
Parking is by Permit which we provide you to place on your dashboard. It is up to you to follow the rules clearly written on the pass therefore you park at your own risk. We have only had one person get a ticket for not following the rules which are very easy.
Cancel up to 7 days before your trip and get a 50% refund plus service fees back.

I, Soledad am Chilean and Rodrigo is Colombian. We are social, lovers of all things art, music and travel.
My hispanic upbringing made me hospitable and domestically inclined. I love great food as a social ritual and cooking as an expression of love.
We are open hearted and abhor judgemental people. We love life and find joy in the tiniest of things.
We enjoy experiencing places by meeting "normal" people doing everyday things.
