About this listing

The space

Centrally located in downtown Toronto (Annex Toronto)

The Annex is a trendy, affluent residential community loaded with restaurants, pubs and boutiques. It is home to many theatres, art galleries and unique cafes and venues. The Annex is one of Toronto's oldest neighbourhoods and is characterized by its distinctive tall narrow houses. This lively community along Bloor Street is well known by Torontonians as one of the friendliest neighbourhoods in the city.

This apartment is centrally located in one of the hippest areas Toronto has to offer, walking distance to great attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, major super markets, health food stores, museums, theatres, cafes, boutiques, and cinemas. This fully furnished bachelor apartment with one double bed is full of charm and character. Free parking is conveniently available right on the property if you need it.

Close to all public transit routes. A 2 minute walk from Spadina station. Getting around from this location is a total breeze. Although you don't need to go far to find what you need.

You can walk to Historical Yorkville in 5 minutes. Enjoy a pint at Paupers Pub, a meal or coffee at on By The Way Cafe's very popular patio or shop for books at BMV or Seekers who both have a great selection of new and second-hand books in subjects ranging from literature and spirituality to self-help and travel books.

For a late night bite try Sneaky Dee's for some Inexpensive yet tasty Tex-Mex fare and cheap pitchers of beer or Ghazale for some excellent Middle Eastern food at incredibly affordable prices.

For some healthy eats try Fresh by Juice For Life. You can grab yourself a fresh juice, a grain bowl or a wholesome smoothie and then watch a film at The Bloor Street Cinema, a century-old, independent movie theatre that often features classic favourites in addition to current box office hits.

I have hundreds of great suggestions to help you explore the city if you are new to Toronto. There are many great pockets with gems of restaurants, cafes and boutique and tons are great ways to spend your days and evenings.

Check-in was extremely easy, straightforward, and accommodating. The room is simple but cozy and is in a building that is on a lovely, quiet street but also close to plenty of the action. I slept super well (and I'm an extremely light sleeper). Nedia was nice and helpful! I would for sure stay here again.

The flat is located near the city centre and we found everything we needed (food, supermarket, subway) nearby. The communication with Nedia wasn't always easy, unfortunately (f.ex. We had to wait almost three months to get an answer for a message, even after reminding it, because Nedia was travelling). But if you offer a flat on Airbnb, you should make an effort to be available or at least ask someone to help you. She said that the flat would be ready at 1.30 pm, and I told her we would arrive at 2pm. When we finally arrived at 2.30pm, the key could not be found, the door was open and suddenly her assistant appeared with unfolded towels. In the bathroom, there was a lack under the flush tank. Unfortunately we didn't know that and we had to help ourselves in order to not cause any damages to the floor. After telling this to Nedia, she told us that a plumber was unavailable. That might happen, but in that case, the guests must be informed before arriving. In the kitchen, there are plates and stuff, but you should handle them carefully, since some of them show damages. The biggest problem which made us feel very uncomfortable was the noisy neighbourhood. Because of that, we decided to leave one day earlier. Altogether, we think that the flat is okay for one or two days, if you don't expect too much. Compared to all the other comments here, it seems that we made a "unique" experience, but we think it is important to mention these facts. After our departure, we wrote her a message and she apologised for the inconvenience - we wish her all the best with her flat in Toronto.

Great location, easy and seemless process. If you are traveling alone or with one other person and you are looking to live like a local for a few days, this is the place. There are many great restaurants and bars near by, train is a few blocks away, and the neighborhood is quiet but lively.

Nedia's place is really central, close to the subway, and the parking spot in back is a huge plus. It's small and there's not much noise protection from the hallway outside - but that didn't bother us during our short stay. Great spot for someone who doesn't need any bells and whistles!

I had a lovely stay at Nedia's cosy little apartment. Exactly as described. No complaints. Would stay here again in a second.

Wonderful location, close to subway, Bloor, restaurants. Clean, quiet, and while I didn't meet Nedia, she was friendly, and I did meet her lovely sister who offered to help with anything I needed. Good hospitality!

This apartment was the perfect space for my boyfriend and I to stay in on a quick trip to Toronto. Easy to find and communication with Nedia was direct and we had everything we needed. The apartment is just a short walk from some great bars and restaurants, and also to the public transit. Beautiful space! Will certainly be returning!
