Downtown Stylish Bachelor Apartment

Apartment - Entire home/apt · Madison Ave, Toronto, ON M5R 1S3, Canada

The Space

Centrally located in downtown Toronto (Annex Toronto)

The Annex is a trendy, affluent residential community loaded with restaurants, pubs and boutiques. It is home to many theatres, art galleries and unique cafes and venues. The Annex is one of Toronto's oldest neighbourhoods and is characterized by its distinctive tall narrow houses. This lively community along Bloor Street is well known by Torontonians as one of the friendliest neighbourhoods in the city.

This apartment is centrally located in one of the hippest areas Toronto has to offer, walking distance to great attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, major super markets, health food stores, museums, theatres, cafes, boutiques, and cinemas. This fully furnished bachelor apartment with one double bed is full of charm and character. Free parking is conveniently available right on the property if you need it.

Close to all public transit routes. A 2 minute walk from Spadina station. Getting around from this location is a total breeze. Although you don't need to go far to find what you need.

You can walk to Historical Yorkville in 5 minutes. Enjoy a pint at Paupers Pub, a meal or coffee at on By The Way Cafe's very popular patio or shop for books at BMV or Seekers who both have a great selection of new and second-hand books in subjects ranging from literature and spirituality to self-help and travel books.

For a late night bite try Sneaky Dee's for some Inexpensive yet tasty Tex-Mex fare and cheap pitchers of beer or Ghazale for some excellent Middle Eastern food at incredibly affordable prices.

For some healthy eats try Fresh by Juice For Life. You can grab yourself a fresh juice, a grain bowl or a wholesome smoothie and then watch a film at The Bloor Street Cinema, a century-old, independent movie theatre that often features classic favourites in addition to current box office hits.

I have hundreds of great suggestions to help you explore the city if you are new to Toronto. There are many great pockets with gems of restaurants, cafes and boutique and tons are great ways to spend your days and evenings.

  • My mom and I stayed here for 5 days and it was perfect. A wonderful place for 1-2 people! Nedia is a fantastic host- helpful and quick to respond.

The space was exactly what we were looking for - we could cook (no microwave but kitchen had the appliances/supplies we needed like electric stove, several pots/pans, coffee maker, toaster), it was in a pretty quiet area, the internet was fast, and the bathroom was very clean.

This was our first time using Airbnb and we were happy with the whole process throughout (communicating with host before arrival and during arrival, staying in private and affordable place that felt more welcoming than hostel or hotel, etc.) This was a great experience.

We'd love to stay here again if we were visiting Toronto again.

  • What a great place to stay in Toronto! The apartment is super clean and cute. I love all the architectural details. It was perfect for two of us for the two nights we were there. It is right near the Spadina Station, which means all of Toronto is at your doorstep. And great restaurants and sights are within walking distance. Nedia always responds quickly to any messages, and renting her place was simple and way more affordable than a hotel. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Toronto for one person or a couple. Yay! I will definitely be back!

Easy access to all the best Toronto has to offer.

  • A friend and I came for a weekend trip in Toronto and we loved staying at Nedia's apartment! It is located in a very cute neighborhood with close access to the subway and street cars, but also walkable to all areas of downtown for exploring. Also very nice to have free parking right at the building. Highly recommend staying here!

  • I had a great stay at Nedia's apartment in Toronto. The apartment is small but clean and well-appointed, and has a really nice vibe. Located in the Annex, it is well-positioned for easy access from the airport via the subway, and there are numerous amenities within easy walking distance. Nedia was a great host, responsive to questions that I had and very accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here, and hope to be able to come back sometime soon!

  • We had a great time staying at Nedia's apartment. We loved how the apartment was decorated. She had a portable electric heater setup for us in case the radiator wasn't heating the apartment well enough. It was also amazing to have free parking in the back of the building. The location is in a great neighborhood, just an easy 2 blocks away from a subway station.

The next time I'm in Toronto, I will definitely be staying here!

  • The place was very well located! We had different bars and shops around. The room was very clean and it was a good deal for that area of Toronto. It was also very easy to come and go by metro and tram. The heating system of the building was always on and a little bit noisy. The place is so nice, pleasant, sunny and comfortable. We had all we need: our key, wifi, blanket, towel, …. All to enjoy our trip in Toronto!

  • This spot was fantastic and a way better alternative than a hotel or hostel. We were so happy to find such a great place at an affordable price. The room itself was well decorated and full of thoughtful touches. The parking in back was extremely convenient if you need to park a car. However, the apartment was in a great neighborhood conveniently located for walking too. Nedia was a pleasure to work with and made it very easy for us to get settled in. We would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a great place to stay while in Toronto.
