The Space

Centrally located in downtown Toronto (Annex Toronto)

The Annex is a trendy, affluent residential community loaded with restaurants, pubs and boutiques. It is home to many theatres, art galleries and unique cafes and venues. The Annex is one of Toronto's oldest neighbourhoods and is characterized by its distinctive tall narrow houses. This lively community along Bloor Street is well known by Torontonians as one of the friendliest neighbourhoods in the city.

This apartment is centrally located in one of the hippest areas Toronto has to offer, walking distance to great attractions, restaurants, bars, shopping, major super markets, health food stores, museums, theatres, cafes, boutiques, and cinemas. This fully furnished bachelor apartment with one double bed is full of charm and character. Free parking is conveniently available right on the property if you need it.

Close to all public transit routes. A 2 minute walk from Spadina station. Getting around from this location is a total breeze. Although you don't need to go far to find what you need.

You can walk to Historical Yorkville in 5 minutes. Enjoy a pint at Paupers Pub, a meal or coffee at on By The Way Cafe's very popular patio or shop for books at BMV or Seekers who both have a great selection of new and second-hand books in subjects ranging from literature and spirituality to self-help and travel books.

For a late night bite try Sneaky Dee's for some Inexpensive yet tasty Tex-Mex fare and cheap pitchers of beer or Ghazale for some excellent Middle Eastern food at incredibly affordable prices.

For some healthy eats try Fresh by Juice For Life. You can grab yourself a fresh juice, a grain bowl or a wholesome smoothie and then watch a film at The Bloor Street Cinema, a century-old, independent movie theatre that often features classic favourites in addition to current box office hits.

I have hundreds of great suggestions to help you explore the city if you are new to Toronto. There are many great pockets with gems of restaurants, cafes and boutique and tons are great ways to spend your days and evenings.

  • It was very nice to stay at Nedias Place. Everything was clean and all the good things in Toronto are availalbe in less minutes. Also the Apartment was silent so that you can sleep well in big Toronto. The contact to Nedia was easy and quick and always very nice. With the fans in the Apartment the heat was also okay. Maybe you can buy some more cooking equipment. Thank you for everything!

  • I had a great experience staying at Nedia's Place! It was beautifully furnished, clean, a convenient location (close to the subway), and the sheets and towels were fresh and clean as well. Parking at the back of the building was safe and a huge bonus because parking in Toronto for the weekend can be quite pricey. Nedia was super friendly, easy to get a hold of, and accommodating as well. She even left snacks and water in the fridge for us which came in handy! I would say the only problem with the room was that it was stifling hot even with the 2 fans going all day so remember to keep the blinds shut and windows open to keep fresh air circulating.

  • A beautifully simple abode paired with a wonderfully helpful host! The neighborhood has a delightful collegiate feel, and is only blocks from the nearest subway station.

  • Nedia's studio is clean and comfortable. The location is excellent, lots to do in the neighbourhood and a short walk from Spadina station. Nedia was quick with all communication and while we never actually met, arrangements for picking up/dropping of the keys were a breeze.

  • We had a great time in this little studio! it was fine for our needs, the bed was comfy, and we could walk to some decent food. there was a line for an ice-cream shop that we didn't wait in as it went out the door to the sidewalk, but I'm assuming that means it's good? We were able to cook and save some left overs in the kitchenette and walk to a little market with super nice staff. If we're in Toronto again we would stay again! We'd bring our own fan though, it was HOT in that room even with 2 fans in mid June, probably not a problem for easy sleepers, but if you sleep hot, definitely bring your own fan!

Towels were clean and soft, sheets were super clean & crisp white (we've stayed with some ABBs who I swear didn't know people washed their sheets!) There was some mac & cheese and cereal she left, and we ate as we got in super late (note that we couldn't find any food past 9pm in the city!) so that was super helpful. It felt safe and secure, there were no smells, and it was peacefully quite. My favorite part is the free and safe parking in the back lot, a huge help as we rented a car and I was terrified of it getting dented.

All and all, thanks for a great stay, we'll be back!!

  • The apartment exceeded our expectations. It is located within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars, as well as tourist attractions such as the Royal Museum of Ontario. It has private off-street parking which made managing bringing a vehicle into the city much easier. Aside from its' great location the apartment is attractively decorated and offered everything two people could need. I would recommend anyone visiting Toronto to stay here!
