Pam is an amazing host from the first greeting to the sad farewell. Her overflowing energy will make your stay fabulous and comfortable. You will be delighted with her gluten free breakfasts to her tours of her whimsical backyard. You can choose to relax in a hammock, play horseshoes, or wander into her artistic backyard woods. Her location is a great base for day trips both north and south. Do not hesitate to stay here. It is a treasure in Kittery.
Pam Ellen is a wonderful host who keeps a beautiful home on lovely grounds in Kittery. The home is conveniently located and Pam Ellen makes guests feel comfortable whether they are staying on the property or exploring all that local Maine has to offer.
Five stars, would stay again.
Meeting Pam, exploring the property, and feeling the immediate inundation of fantastic vibes and restorative energy was an experience that shan't be forgotten. This magically warm environment is in every sense of the word a sanctuary for the mind, body, and soul.
Staying with Pam Ellen was fantastic. My husband and I weren't there long though....only two nights, but we felt like we were at home for sure. Pam has an extensive library of places to go, things to do, and restaurant recommendations. She's very knowledgable about the area, and that helped to make our stay more enjoyable as we didn't have to spend much time researching about the area. Pam is a professional and that is obvious as soon as you walk in the door. Relaxed and easy going, and is an all-around interesting person. The backyard gardens, lit arbor, creative art, the tree swing and the hammock were all perfect for us. Just wish we could have spent some more time there instead of traveling from Tennessee.
She knows what guests prefer when it comes to their stay. She even showed up how to use a French Press coffee maker. We have her to thank for making our "spontaneous" weekend trip, fun and relaxing---complete with breakfast in the morning which also included "PAMcakes" :) We'd definitely stay with her again.
We stayed here for two nights in July. The location is perfect for those wanting a real getaway location. The local town of Kittery is not really walkable, especially at night, so a car or taxi is required. The accommodation is very cosy and comfortable and the garden is an absolute delight. Pam Ellen couldn't have made us feel more welcome and we felt part of the family straightaway. Her home made breakfast was great and we were looked after very well. Thank you for a really great experience. We would recommend this location to anyone considering a stay in this area.
We just came back from a perfect 3 nights stay at Pam's beautiful house.
About the house: Clean, cosy, comfortable, beautiful, warm, serene, & brimming with positive energy. You can tell Pam takes great pride in her house by the way she has maintained its inside and outside. Our room was beautifully decorated (as is the rest of the house), and very comfortable. We made ample use of her peaceful, green, and beautiful yard which was blooming with all kinds of beautiful flowers and herbs. A newly installed hammock and a tree swing just added to the relaxation quotient.
About Pam: A genuinely warm and kind person. She was extremely prompt in communicating with us right from the time of booking. There are people who are "open and welcoming" superficially and there are people like Pam - a real open and kind soul. She made us feel like we are 'home'. She cooked delicious breakfast for us each morning, shared her experiences and stories, gave us tips on things to do and places to eat and went above and beyond in all aspects to make this a memorable stay. I would stay at Pam's anytime I visit Southern Maine again.
Pam Ellen is wonderful! Upon arrival, we got a tour of the lovely house and magical backyard & gardens. She made a little welcome package in our room with restaurant, beach, and music recommendations. We felt warmly welcomed and relaxed:)

About the Host, Pam Ellen
I enjoy people and learning what makes you unique. I have traveled extensively and open to cultural differences. I travel for service work to Nicaragua twice a year, and consulted to the Special Ed directors of Belize for 2 years. Upon their request I wrote them a manual for the Deaf and hard of hearing. This manual is used in their classrooms around the country. My motto is "Kindness, kindness, kindness". I look forward to welcoming you into my home where you will become part of our family.
