I very much enjoyed my stay with Pam. Her home is cozy, welcoming and absolutely charming. I recommend a stroll through her whimsical garden where you can play super sized jenga, find a shady place to sit awhile, walk the stone labyrinth, or enjoy a leisurely swing. Pam is a wonderful and thoughtful host.
What a gem of a stay! Not only was the setting stunning, the bed comfortable, but the company of Pam was such an unexpected treat!! She went out of her way to make me feel welcome and cared for as far as making sure I left for my early morning journey with coffee to go and a lovely breakfast. Pam is the hostess with the mostest! I could not recommend staying with her more.
Staying with Pam Ellen is not easy to review, since airbnb wants reviewers to avoid personal stuff. Staying with Pam Ellen was all about the personal stuff. We say this in full recognition of her lovely home, incredible grounds, and great location. Calling what she offers 'hospitality' just doesn't do justice to the experience she provided and to the bonds formed in just a couple of days. She really is the epitome of what makes an airbnb stay something that can't be matched by any traditional type of lodging arrangement and we hope we can return before long.
Pam was a very gracious host who made my husband and I feel welcome in her home in every way. She cooked a very nice breakfast every morning and was great about accommodating to our dietary needs. She even let me use her personal collection of bath salts and nail polishes to get ready for the wedding we were attending! Pam's house was just as described, it was beautifully and tastefully decorated. She paid close attention to detail with small but appreciated gestures such as filtered water and glasses in the room and great recommendations for nearby attractions and eateries.
Pam is a warm and friendly host with great recommendations for places to visit in the area. She has a beautiful house and made me feel right a home during my stay! It was a pleasure to hear stories about her travels over breakfast and her "pam"cakes were delicious :)
Staying at Pam's home is exactly the reason to choose airbnb over a hotel. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt welcome and comfortable. Her home is nicely furnished and the room I stayed in was perfect. The bed was very comfortable and the fragrance from the blend of aromatherapy smelled wonderful. Pam clearly enjoys hosting people in her home, and I thoroughly enjoyed having the breakfasts she made while sitting around the table getting to know the other guests. And, she provides excellent tips on where to go. I had a fantastic stay, and I high recommend Pam's home!

About the Host, Pam Ellen
I enjoy people and learning what makes you unique. I have traveled extensively and open to cultural differences. I travel for service work to Nicaragua twice a year, and consulted to the Special Ed directors of Belize for 2 years. Upon their request I wrote them a manual for the Deaf and hard of hearing. This manual is used in their classrooms around the country. My motto is "Kindness, kindness, kindness". I look forward to welcoming you into my home where you will become part of our family.
