Notice: Superbowl rentals are for the whole house!
Come check out our house in Tempe! We have recently returned from traveling, so right now this is a shared space. Special requests for renting the whole house can potentially be negotiated.
If we aren't negotiating the whole house, then one bedroom is available. In the pictures it is the one with the bunk bed. Also, the three couches and one Japanese floor futon are available for a group if you need it.
The living space is huge with ceiling fans and skylights throughout, a large foyer, living room, kitchen, and sun room. Even better is the back yard, with a built in grill, and chairs to lay out in and enjoy the warm Arizona sun on your skin.
Our living room has a 42 inch lcd tv, with an Apple TV hooked up to it. You'll have access to Netflix and Hulu Plus through the Apple TV, as well as streaming anything from your iPhone or Macbook wirelessly. We also have wifi set up in the house. Feel free to browse the book collection that is left. We sold most of our books before we took off for our travels, but there are some goodies left (and I've been reacquiring a bunch more since getting back).
We live about 2 miles from the ASU/Mill Ave district. There are some good bars a block away (Four Peaks taproom, Boulders on Broadway). Tempe itself is an awesome sunny place with lots to do. Buses are immediately nearby, with a light rail 3 miles away that catches the airport. I can give you a ride nearby if you need one and I'm available.
Arnold, our lovable German Shepherd is here as well. He'll love you, but if you have some crazy fear of big dogs this isn't your place unless you feel like crushing your phobia.
While you're here go eat at Oregano's and Four Peaks. Also, Picazzo's Pizza is great if you eat gluten-free. They are sooo good! Hike South Mountain a few miles away, or Camelback Mountain 15 minutes north. I am self employed, so I am around the house a lot. Contact us if you need any other information!
Take care of the place! This is our home. Any damages will be taken out of the deposit. Also, you are expected to leave the place as clean as when you found it. If you keep it clean I'll refund the cleaning fee!
The house was fine and everything we needed - just wish the hot tub had been working since it was a little chilly when we were there!
We had such a lovely time in Tempe. Denny's house was great, both in location and space. The house was lovely and very spacious for 3 adults and three children. Thank you Denny and Erik for an enjoyable experience.
Denny and his family is currently overseas, so we were contacted instead by Erik, who ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay, and was happy to answer any questions we had.
We would be happy to recommend this house to others, and to stay again ourselves.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and had a great time. There is a lot of space, the house was clean and it is close to the Mill avenue district. The hot tub was a nice bonus. I would recommend this place to anyone.
The house is big and comfortable, we liked and enjoy the island kitchen. Unfortunately when we arrived there was no coffee maker and the hot tub was no on and with just a bit of dirty water. the kitchen was not well stacked, there was only two glasses of wine when advertising to fit 6 people. The last day we found lot more glasses in the garage. I think the place needs instruction where to find things and light switches and how to turn on the hot tub.Fortunately Eric the property manager brought us a coffee maker and help, the second day with the hot tub. With these improvements it will be a very pleasant place to stay.
We had 8 graduate students come to Denny's home for a conference at ASU and were all very comfortable. The house was spacious, clean and easy to locate.
I had a good experience in Dennys house, its a small bit lived in but its also large, well equipped and very convenient for lively Tempe and Phoenix. The parking and backyard were a bonus too.
All in all i'd be happy to stay here next time in the area
The house was spacious and easily accommodated the group I stayed there with. It was close to grocery stores and a park-and-ride for the light rail, which made it really easy to get to Phoenix. I'd definitely recommend Denny's place as an easy and comfortable spot.

We are a husband and wife team. We love God, people and travel. Thank you for taking the time to look at our cozy place; stick around and check it out. We hope to meet you soon!
I call Red Bud, IL and Tempe, AZ home, and am a recent grad from ASU. My wife and I taught English for a year in China. I currently work for Yelp. We are saving up airline miles and cash for an round-the-world trip in 2016. China has been awesome, and we can't wait to see more of the world!
I love GREAT coffee, beer, and food. I love experimenting and building things. I built a coffee roaster, roast my own coffee, brew beer, and plan to build a moonshine still soon (don't tell the feds : )). Someday I'm going to get into wine, cured meats, and cheese, but I'm not there yet.
I might die without my iPhone and good coffee. Seriously.
I specialize in wedding, couple and family photography. I would love to capture your season, let me know if your interested in a session while you are visiting AZ.
My interest in photography began with my first film camera when I was 7 years old. I used a whole roll of film on an exotic chipmunk at Yellowstone.
Creating and appreciating the beauties in ordinary days of life is a simple pleasure of mine. Since getting a DSLR, I have been teaching myself photography and love studying culture through experience. I love hearing and witnessing the love stories God has written for couples and my hope is for others to enjoy my photos and see that which could be easily overlooked in the swift passing of time.
Souls are changed when they see the story a good photographer captures and it is my heart’s desire is to tell vivid personal stories through my lens, while sharing love and truth with the subject of my art. I grew as a photographer the year I captured over 10,000 portraits in China, Southeast Asia, and America. I live with my husband and 100 lb. German Shepherd, love good coffee, Paleo, and enjoy Crossfit.
Eventually we will fill our house with awesome handmade, modern, and unique furniture, but it takes time and is hard to do as a world traveler. One piece at a time builds a collection!
Our mission in life: love people, and help them love the loving God that has loved me into a new creation.
