Glamping in Anza Borrego - Communal Lodging Experience. ADULTS ONLY! Please read all information prior to booking.

Sandy is a vintage 1956 Pathfinder camping travel trailer. This travel trailer was rescued and redone with a bright and pretty in pink theme. Provides an intimate full size bed and seating for two.

The space
Bungalows of The Desert features a unique communal lodging experience, conveniently located near downtown Borrego Springs.

You’ll be just a short walk or bike ride from the charming town of Borrego Springs, where you can explore seasonal shops and dining options. Enjoy stargazing and a distinctive vintage trailer experience under the night sky.

This adults-only location is not ideal for those with sensitive hearing or who are uncomfortable with shared spaces. It is situated near a main road.

Prepare for extreme weather, hazards, and emergencies. Weather can be unpredictable and we ask that you watch out for weather conditions closer to your arrival. We do our best to provide a great experience and will do our best to advise of any extreme weather warnings prior to your arrival.

Cooking in Vintage Camping Trailer
Cooking in vintage camping trailer(s) is prohibited for safety reasons. Trailer(s) do NOT provide a functional kitchen area.

Pack it in, Pack it out!
Inspect your campsite for trash or spilled foods. Pack out all trash, leftover food and litter. Guests are responsible for disposing of all trash.

Outdoor Shower: We’re happy to offer an outdoor shower for your convenience! To help conserve water, we kindly ask guests to keep showers to a maximum of 3 minutes. Thank you for your consideration!

For your comfort, we provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with Turkish cotton towels. Your towels will be available in your vintage trailer upon check-in.

Additional Supplies
Guests are responsible for bringing any additional supplies needed for glamping. We always recommend bringing additional blankets or sleeping bags during the winter season. We do provide each vintage trailer with a Heating Buddy with additional propane tanks.

Important Notice: Electrical Usage
Please note that all vintage trailers are not directly connected to electricity for safety reasons. To ensure your safety and convenience, you are welcome to use the shared lounge to plug in your electrical devices.

Our communal area includes a lounge, coffee station, fire pit, and bathroom facilities.The communal lounge is available 24/7, features a charging station, Wi-Fi, TV (with limited streaming options), restroom access (without shower) and a microwave.

Our collection, spanning from the 1950s to the 1960s, has been thoughtfully revived to capture each trailer's original charm, complete with small imperfections that tell the story of their past.
