This is a great place to stay! Host is highly communicative and helpful. Location is ideal for those wishing to explore Marietta & Atlanta area. Plenty of room and location is quiet.
Thanks for the great visit!
Asenah was wonderful to work with. The location was great and near to many things to do. Millipedes had invaded and we didn't have any mention of those until we received the door code and had paid. I missed in the listing that there were train tracks very close and going through at all hours of the day/night. I also missed no cable tv available. Cell phone reception and tv reception went out when the train was passing. Otherwise, the place was as clean as it could have been.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry you could not be here with your family. Your husband indicated there were a few millipedes by the door and they were not a problem. We have never had them as a problem before this year and the entomologist indicated they were due to the extreme summer rains.
As for the trains, they have been an intregal part of Marietta history since the early 1800's. Some are military and do run when they choose.
We make it very clear in our listings that we do not provide cable TV. Sorry you missed that. Your cell phone carrier could shed light on your reception issues.
A pleasant walk-out unit in a lovely neighborhood, easy walking distance from the town square, restaurants, farmers market, etc. The keyless entry is very convenient for visitors who may arrive separately. George and Asenah are delightful and very welcoming. We also appreciated the luxurious and abundant towels.
Asenah was a super host. You know they care when they send a text at 11:30 checking on us since we had not checked in yet. Then, there were fresh cut flowers in the apartment when we got there. Asenah also left us a hand written note about the farmer's market which turned out to be awesome.
The apartment was perfect for us--so much more like home than a hotel is. One of us could sleep in while the other made noise moving around doing stuff and never interrupt the other. Plus, it is located a little walk from the amazing Marietta Square that has a ton of cool independent restaurants and unique stores.
We would definitely stay at this place again.
