Enjoy the bright hues of the cozy teal room in a sun shiny home conveniently located in nice neighborhood on open tree lined street close to the University as well as parks, shopping and restaurants. Get to campus any way you like, it is just one mile away! Walk, bike, unicycle, rollerblade, bus, taxi or car! Convenient bus stops in front of my home! This is a perfect solution for folks with business at the University looking for a pleasant place to stay and relax too.
BEDROOM: Cozy and colorful teal room with full size bed. Perfect for a couple.
BATHROOMS: Two shared bath rooms, one featuring a jacuzzi tub.
LIVING ROOM: Beautiful bamboo hardwood floor living room with large screen television. No cable but I do have an HDMI wire to hook up Mac computer. This space is shared.
KITCHEN: Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher. You are welcome to use these facilities.
BREAKFASTS: Tea and coffee are always available. Breakfasts can be included for no additional cost if requested in advance. Please let me know if you are interested in cereal, bagels, donuts, toast, juice, and/or fruit so that I can have them ready for you.
YARD: Another shared space is the back yard deck with chairs and picnic table for outdoor dining. Mini-gas operated grill is available, but let me know if you will be using it, so I can have it out and ready for your use. Large backyard with fire pit means you can cook out, roast marshmallows, or relax by campfire. Note that the dog will be in the back yard and you might need to step carefully.
DOG: Sasha is a very friendly black lab about ten years old. She loves attention. She lives in the back yard and garage. She loves visitors and will be happy to have you throw a stick to her for hours, but you can easily ignore her if you dogs are not your thing. She is sometimes overly protective of her own space with other dogs, so this is not the place for you if you need to bring a pet. We will leave her out during your stay. Although during extremely hot and cold days we may bring her inside into our own bedroom at night.
INTERNET: We now have smoking hot wireless internet and netflix on the large screen television.
PARKING: Parking in driveway and plenty on the street.
BIKING: In this bike friendly town, you may prefer a bike to get around! The city has an extensive network of bike lanes. I have a good selection of tools and bike stand for quick repair jobs as well. I can give you advice on local group rides or plan a visit to our closest mountain biking trails at Kickapoo State Park.
My home is a smoke-free drug-free. If you need to smoke please do so outside.

Jennifer and Tony were very accommodating and generous. They offered some places to visit and eat, and I always appreciate a local's opinion. Their house is clean, the room/bed is comfy. Also, the dog is very friendly and sweet!
Jennifer's place was exactly what I was looking for! Either of the two rooms they offer are cozy, beautifully decorated, and clean. Located near campus (but not so near that you feel like you're sharing a space with college students) and close to downtown Urbana, its a great spot for University visitors who want to get a taste of what else the area has to offer. Jennifer and her husband were very kind, flexible, and accommodating. I will definitely look them back up for future visits!
This was a lovely, relaxing room in a very beautiful house; perfect for a graduate student needing a place to crash after a long conference day. Jennifer was a very welcoming host and I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a place to stay in Urbana.
We had a pleasant stay at Jennifer's house! She is a great host and was very kind to offer us a ride. The place was very cute and convenient. I would definitely want to stay here again ;)
This was my first experience with airbnb and I was so happy to have Jennifer as my host. Her home is so cozy and has everything you need. I would definitely stay with her again in the future. She was incredibly kind and was very thoughtful of my privacy, I felt like I could make myself at home. She also helped me figure out how to get to the U of I for an audition I had. Awesome experience, I would definitely recommend staying here.
Jennifer was a wonderful host, and it was a very pleasant stay! The location is close to the university. I would stay again if I come back in future! Thanks Jennifer! :)
I had a great stay at Jennifer's place. My room was comfortable and her place was close to all of the places in Champaign-Urbana that I wanted to see. I would stay with her again if I came back to town. Thanks, Jennifer! :)
Jennifer's home is very comfortable and in a great location! I stayed while doing a weeklong class at UIUC and it was perfect for my needs. Very close to bus routes that drop you right on campus (around 15 minutes away), and quiet and comfortable home in a nice neighborhood. The place is also spotlessly clean and has superfast internet. Jennifer was very friendly and helpful, and her dog Sasha is very adorable and well-behaved. I would stay here again!
I didn't have that much interactions with Jennifer, but she is a great host to have! Everything is as described and I can't seem to find anything I would want to change from the experience. Thank you Jennifer!
We had a great time. Thank you!
