Beautiful and bright studio (one-room) flat in the center of Munich (Maxvorstadt), a 5-10 minute walk to the main train station (Hauptbahnhof). The flat's on the third floor and an elevator can bring you up. I have a bed that fits two, a small Ikea sofa that can fit two if they enjoy closeness and don't need to be terribly comfortable, and a more comfortable air mattress for two, which provides a bit more space than the sofa. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, dish washer, coffee machine and tea pot. Free WiFi. And there's a cat in the apartment who is pretty shy and quiet but needs to be fed twice a day.
Supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bakeries, bars, pharmacy, laundry, cinemas, internet cafes, museums, beer gardens are all accessible on foot.
Walking distance from flat:
Oktoberfest - 20 minutes (or one stop on the subway)
Königsplatz - 5 minutes
Loewenbraeu beer hall / beer garden - 5 minutes
Old Botanical Garden - 5 minutes
Augustiner beer hall / beer garden - 10 minutes
Stachus (Karlsplatz) - 10 minutes
Pinakothek museums -15 minutes
You can get anywhere with the public transportation directly in front of the door.

We stayed in the New Year's Eve and we enjoyed a lot. Jean-Luc is very kind and sympa. The apartment is very closed to the center and near Hauptbahnof and the cat Kitty is lovely.
I suggest you to book this apartment!
The place is wonderful, near to central train station. Very easy to go to any place in city.
Jean-Luc was very friendly, received us and explained all basic stuff to first time travellers in Munich. I think we don't bother Kitty. She also received us very well. Despite our short stay We loved the experience and expect to stay for a little longer in Munich next time.
Great location, great host and great apartment. It had everything we needed for our party of 4. We would definitely stay again.
Merci beaucoup.Nous avons été très bien reçu par Jean-Luc.L'appartement est proche des transports en commun.Notre séjour a été très agréable.
Encore un grand merci !!!!...Et surement à bientôt!
The flat was in a great location and was very clean and nice. The shower had amazing water pressure, which you don't always find in Europe! Very nice after a lot of traveling.
Jean-Luc was extremely friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Jean-Luc was a terrific host, and the flat was a terrific place to stay. To begin with, Jean-Luc was responsive in a timely manner. When ever I would send emails to him I would only have to wait a few short hours before receiving a reply. In addition, he was very accommodating by meeting my friends and I at the time of arrival. We even went out to dinner with Jean-Luc, and learned lots about German culture and things to do in Munich. His flat is absolutely beautiful, and it is easy to see he pays close attention to keeping it that way. This is a great find, and is in a perfect location to the train station and downtown Munich.
Jean-Luc was an excellent host. He greeted us with a beer and showed us through the apartment. The location and apartment were perfect for our short stay in Munich. "Kitty" was a warm and friendly roommate. I highly recommend staying here
We loved the apartment, which was full of character and light. The location was convenient to everything.
Nice appartement near to the city center.
Jean-Luc and Kitty the Cat are pleasant and welcoming.
Thank you very much !
We were lucky to meet Jean-Luc he's a great guy! My kids appreciated talking to someone whose first language is English. My daughter enjoyed taking care of the kitty. He had his place perfectly set up for our stay. Enough clean towels, pillows and sheets. His apartment is also in a central location, close to the train station and other transportation. There's a supermarket down the street, a bakery on the block, and a wonderful Bier Garten up the street. My family of four was able to relax and unwind after a rough day of sight seeing.
