Camille has been a very nice host. She helped us with everything she could and the communication was perfect.
The flat was very clean and looked exactly like on the pictures. We had a good time in her apartment.
Camille's apartment is very conveniently located and we had no trouble getting around. Mauerpark is 5min by walk and so are many restaurants and cafes. A big thumbs up!
The apartment was clean and everything worked well. Having no elevator can be an annoyance to some, but didn't bother us much. We liked it overall and would recommend it for sure!
The location of the apartment is great. Very cloce to Eberswalder str. U bahn and in a very nice area in general. The apartment was tidy, clean and equiped with everything we neede. Be aware that there is no elevator, so old people might face some difficulties to climb it. There was a serious problem with the key but it should be fixed this months. The contact with Camille was excellet. I will recommend to stay in this apartment
It was fantastic! The flat is big and it's very well located. It is next to fantastic restaurants and bars and also the subway so that it's possible to go anywhere easily. Close also to a 24 hour supermarket in case you want to cook after a long day of site seeing. The kitchen has everything.
The flat is also very charming, adorable decorations and very pleasant. Camille had arranged to get us our keys because she was on vacation and we got them at the time and place she specified. She also answered questions by e-mail while we were there.
Camille was very pleasant to deal with and the flat was wonderful. I can't stress how great of a time we had here!
We were staying in Camille's flat 2 days in the end of June, it was our third short rip in Berlin, and this time we were almost in love with Berlin. Prenzlauer Berg is a right location to stay, there are many cafes and restaurants, and by subway or tram it's very close to Alexander Platz (and if you like walking, it will take you some time, but you can have a nice walk to Alexander Platz, as we had). The flat is also very nice and comfortable, with high ceilings, and overall, made with a great taste. We are grateful to Camille, because we started to look for an apartment pretty late, and we needed to find something already for a next day. Camille answered us immediately and gave us detailed instructions, how we can find a flat and get inside.
The flat is suitable for 4 persons (there is a separate bedroom with double bed and there is also a nice sofa also for two persons in a living-room) but if you wake up late in the morning and prefer to sleep with an opened window, I recommend you to choose a living-room: The windows in the bedroom face a courtyard and all the neighbors start the day approximately at 7.a.m., even on the week-ends, so you can hear lots of different sounds pretty well.
We are waking up really late and that's why we were happy to understand, that we can make check-out in our own pace, so we left the flat around 1 p.m.
P.S. One important notice - we had a problem with a door. There are two locks on the door, and one of them is very hard to open. I suppose, there should be a secret, that helps to open the door smoothly, but we didn't manage to find it.
Hi Valentina, thank you for your detailed review. It was a pleasure to host you. There are no secret for the second lock. If it hadn't been so short notice, I could have shown you how to unlock it easily. Next time :-)
Prenzlauer Berg is the neighbourghood in Berlin with the most children, they are adorable except when they play in the courtyard and you want to rest from a party night :-)
I stayed in Camilles apartment with two friends last weekend. We had a great stay-the apartment is big, comfortable and the location is just perfect (one of my favorite neighborhoods in Berlin). The communication with Camille was very friendly and openminded-she helped with a lot of questions. I can definitely recommend Camille as you future host and her great apartment! :)
Anne Camille has a great apartment in a great area with a lot of cool bars and shops. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious and Camille had provided everything I and my friends needed. In other words, I would really recommend doing business with her.
We had the most fantastic time in Anne-Camilles lovely flat! It was clean, stylish, sunny...such a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. We felt like home immediately. Everything we needed was there and easy to use. The convertable sofa in the living-room was comfortable for sleeping. In addition, the contact in advance was very nice and (website hidden) answered super-quickly every single of our many questions and did everything to make the arrival/hand-over of keys etc. easy for us. Thank you very much!
Anne-Camille is a very friendly and attentive host and the flat was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in and it was a pleasure to have the apartment as a base after a long day of walking in Berlin.
