Oliver grew up in Charlottesville and we have both lived here for the past ten years. We know all the ins and outs of town and the surroundings and will be available to answer your questions. We travel a lot and would love you to enjoy this space as much as we do!
The entire apartment is completely available for your use. The outside yard space is common space shared with the downstairs apartment. We keep one room closed with our personal things, but that room is not pictured here.
Interaction with Guests
We will be interacting primarily by text/e-mail although typically we are able to meet guests if preferred. We are setup to maximize your privacy during your stay.
We know tons about the area and are completely available to answer any questions or help you plan your stay.
You can walk to everything in town and we have a good selection of shops/restaurants within 5 minutes stroll.
Yes, all sorts of public buses run on Main street (2 blocks North) and we are very conveniently located to both the Amtrak train station and Greyhound Bus station.
We have tenants that live downstairs and our house is a neighborhood surrounded by families (and our friends). We expect our Air BnB guests to be respectful and quiet in the evenings (no loud music after 10:00) and keep the partying to the bars, etc. We do encourage folks to use our fully stocked kitchen and enjoy a dinner with friends around our large dinning room table. We also have a cozy den and a 55" tv but appreciate if the volume is turned down reasonably after 10:00. Please no smoking in the house, but you are welcome to smoke on the porch. Thanks!
The house is conveniently located. We were very comfortable. One drawback was the animal family living in the attic.
Adorable apartment and in a really convenient part of town, no matter where you're headed. We had a great experience, I would recommend Oliver's place to anyone!
My family and I stayed in Oliver's home in the week leading up to my wedding. He is an AMAZING, super-attentive host and initiated communication about our needs for the week. His home is comfortable and conveniently located. We so appreciated having a place to relax amidst the wedding festivities. I really can't express my appreciation enough!
Oliver and his wife were easy to get in touch with and their home is beautiful and comfy! They were also very accommodating with check out times - we appreciate it! The home is located within walking distance of some great shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay!
Myself and two friends stayed in Oliver's flat in Charlottesville the night before the 2014 Jefferson Cup road race. Both guys couldn't help but remark that their wives would really like the place. Artfully decorated with creatively reused materials and stripped antique furniture. But the real bonus was a nicely equipped kitchen and large dining area which made for a fun evening of cooking and eating.
My friends and I rented Natasha and Oliver's to stay in while in town for a friend's bridal shower. They were super accommodating and quick to answer any questions we had. Awesome apartment. Very hospitable!
My mother, sister, grandmother, and I spent a wonderful Christmas in Oliver and Natasha's flat. They have a cozy, creative abode with a unique layout that worked well for our family. We would definitely recommend them as hosts based on how communicative and friendly they were (even though we didn't actually get to meet them in person since they were on vacation themselves).

I grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia and live here with my wife, Natasha and our exceptional dog Lika. We have had many amazing experiences both as hosts and guests on airbnb and are always excited to host fellow travelers.
We have both recently transitioned to working for ourselves in order to have more flexible schedules and allow for more travel. To celebrate we went on a 10 month trip to South and Central America, beginning with the World Cup in Brazil! We are glad to be back in town and excited to be hosting again.
We are adventurous and outdoorsy, have a passion for good food and Virginia wine. We are huge fans of our community and look forward to sharing ideas and insider tips with you so you can enjoy Charlottesville to its fullest.
