Wonderful, wonderful experience in Mauro's apartment! Everything warm and welcoming and exactly as described. Guiliano was extremely generous with information and recommendations. Perfect location for strolling to market and other historical attractions. Close to excellent restaurants. Thank you so much for a first time family trip to Florence! Anne, Mark & family
We were greeted at our apartment and given very clear instructions about how to run things around our flat.
My Husband and I were very pleased with the size of the flat along with how welcoming it felt.
The kitchen was a dream to work in and we had many places to read and relax.
We will definitely be returning to this flat for our next visit to Florence.

We loved our Florence apartment. The location was wonderful, in the heart of the old city, but on a nice piazza with a taxi stand and restaurants. Our hosts were very detailed in helping us with the apartment and the surroundings. We had a wonderful time.
Giuliano met us exactly as arranged, and welcomed us with a bottle of Chianti and some local biscuits. The guide notes to the apartment were excellent, everything worked fine. The location is perfect, next to the beautiful Santa Croce.
6 of us stayed here, all close friends, which was good, as 2 of us slept in the communal area.
It is exquisitely furnished, some of the murals were painted by Giuliano's wife, Caterina. It is clearly a family home, and we felt immediately at home when we moved in.
Giuliano noticed that it was my birthday on the day we arrived, and as we left, he and Caterina gave me a birthday gift: most unexpected, and a very nice touch.
I would definitely return, and would recommend it to friends.
Mauro and his parents were very descriptive in the location of the apartment. In addition to very patient with guiding us for our entire stay whilst in Florence. They used mobile phones and the message feature on Airbnb to communicate which was helpful. We felt very welcome for our entire stay.
Mauro's father, Guiliano, met us when we arrived and was extremely helpful and welcoming. The apartment is in a great location and is quite charming. Guiliano also checked in on us to make sure all was going well and helped arrange tennis court reservations and our transport to the airport. I would highly recommend staying here.
Mauro's apartment is full of character, in a great location, and is super clean! Mauro's father, Guiliano, met us at the property and he was extremely professional and informative during check- in/check-out and he's such a lovely guy too! I wholeheartedly recommend this charming apartment for your stay in beautiful Firenze - enjoy!
