  • Best location in South Tampa, great private room/bath, and wonderful host. Totally enjoyed my stay. This house is in a lovely residential neighborhood, close walking distance to Bayshore blvd and good restaurants. The room & bath both in excellent condition. Nathan was super kind and extremely helpful in every way possible. I look forward to coming back to his home soon again.

  • I stayed with Nathan, Camilla and puppy Lola in April for a week while I was attending a conference at the Tampa Convention Center. The location of the Denman home was perfect. It was a brisk 30 minute walk along the bay to the Convention Center (there is an hourly bus that is less than a 20 minute ride door-to-door). The house is located just around the corner from South Howard St and near Hyde Park Village shops. This is where you want to be out of conference hours. There are great places to eat, drink and browse in a gorgeous, safe and historic - and increasingly vibrant - neighbourhood. My room in the house was perfect; like a little loft apartment with a private bathroom. It was light and spacious, though prone to getting warm (I had the fans going most of the time and occasionally turned on the AC). I was welcome to use the kitchen and the lounge room, which is where I spent some time getting to know Nathan and Camilla, sharing stories from our respective home countries. They were perfect hosts. They had plenty of local knowledge (including where to get $2 Tacos on Tuesday!), were warm and inviting. They were often busy but made time to join me for dinner a couple of nights as I was settling in, and Nathan generously took me along to an ice-hockey game, briefing me on the rules as the game progressed. I would recommend a stay here. I plan to stay in touch with Nathan and Camilla, and would love to return for another visit to their place.

My wife and I have a passion to travel and meet new people from around the world and would like to share our home with the same. We have a small dog, Lola, who is very sweet and not a barker. We look forward to meeting you.
