The #03 bus is close and will take you to the nearest subway stations (Noksapyeong Station and Samgugji Station) in 10 minutes. You can see the 03 green shuttle bus on (website hidden) earth. Just type in "Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel" and go to 'street level' at the front of the hotel. Other buses will take you into any of the major areas of the city within about 15-25 minutes.
The apartment building is very secure with entrance password activated and a password for my apartment (no key is needed).
The apartment is warm, clean, safe, comfortable and fairly quiet. There is a lot of natural light and fast internet connection, central heating and air conditioning is included.
AREA / RESTAURANTS / BARS:
We live in a very trendy area. much sought after. There are many nice restaurants and bars, two micro-breweries and supermarkets are within easy walking distance. We are within a 5-minute taxi drive or a 15-20 minute walk from Itaewon.
No pets, No smoking please.
We have a small kitchen (see photos) which you can use, but please clean up after yourself. All dishes etc. must be washed after cooking and wipe down the bench. Thank you.
Please keep your belongings in your room. Most apartments in Seoul are small by Western standards and can easily become cluttered. Please tidy up after yourself.
The other two residence of the apartment are both studying, so we like to keep a quiet house. If we listen to music or video we use earphones. We ask guests to do the same.
No smoking / No pets. Thank you so much.
My stay at this apartment was incredible. The bedroom was a nice size and the bed was super comfy. The location is in a quiet part of Itaewon, which is a bustling foreign section in Seoul. The cuisine and atmosphere was perfect! The roommates couldn't be nicer. I enjoyed my stay and received a lot of helpful information. Might be coming back very soon.
Although I did not get to meet Jeff in person, he let me use his own room and I enjoyed staying his place. The other two roommates were also very nice that they picked me up at a hotel that is close to the house.
This place is awesome! The appartment is clean, cozy and provides much natural light. The room is nicely furnished with everything you need for your stay. The appartement is located in a very quit neighboorhood close to beautiful Namsan Park and the Hyatt Hotel, you get an amazing view on Namsan Tower from the balcony! Public transportation is very close and it is easy to reach many places in Seoul.
Jeff is very kind and incredibly helpful. He showed me around and helped me with so many things, for instance to open up a bank account. I definitely recommend to stay at Jeff's place, I directly felt like home in Seoul thanks to the nice location and my nice host. Thank you so much Jeff!
I love this place! The view is perfect you can see the Namsam Tower directly from the room and this place got everything you need, Jeff has been a very nice landlord, he showed me around and helped me with so many things it felt like my home in Seoul. and the location is great, very close to the hearth of the Seoul. I'll definitely come back in the future.
I loved my stay in Jeff's apartment in Seoul. The area was great, near Itaewon and Haebongchon, and about a 15 minute walk from Noksapyeong Station. A little bit of a hike up to Jeff's place, but I really enjoyed the walk. I could take the 03 bus to/from the station if I didn't feel like walking, but even though it was in the middle of winter, I found it pleasant to walk all over Seoul. What a lovely city! Nearby his place were several restaurants, grocery stores, and even a 7/11 open 24/7 - super convenient. The apartment itself was cozy and nice, on the 3rd floor of the building. The room was just big enough for me, with a nice work desk that I used a lot. I was so glad to have the storage space. The bathroom is typical Korean-style with the shower/sink/toilet all in one room. Takes a little getting used to but nothing crazy. The roommates were very nice, helpful, and quiet. It was such an easy stay - I was very happy with it and would definitely stay here again.
You get a million dollar view of the Seoul Tower from the apartment every night. Walking up and down the hillside of Namsan is a fun way to really mingle with the locals - and get some exercise daily. The apartment is very comfortable and the room has everything one may need - a nice size desk & a closet space etc. Jeff is willing to go above and beyond to help out with whatever you need. There are lots of little markets and restaurants nearby. If you want to have an authentic homestay experience with a non-Korean host in Seoul, this is the place!
Jeff is super friendly and wonderful and made me feel right at home. He offered anything in his house for me to use, and made sure I had everything I needed. The room and the apartment is great and the Itaewon area is perfect for travellers visiting Seoul for a first timer like me as most of the places are nearby. I was gone most of the days during my visit and mainly there for sleep and rest but whenever I am in the house, Jeff made me welcome and offer dinner several times and also took me out for a nice Korean traditional meal. When I return to Seoul, I will definitely stay with Jeff again. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

I am an Australian living in Seoul, South Korea. I am an English language teacher at a university in Seoul. Also - a post-grad (distance) student at a university in L.A. California.
The tenant in the other room is also a teacher and a student, so we are generally quiet studying in our rooms at night. We do not have a TV, but this is a trendy area with many coffee shops, bars and restaurants, and shopping, so there is plenty to do.
With my studies these days I don't have much spare time, but if I do I like to hang out with friends or paint - contemporary landscape oil paintings.
Five things I can't live without: My motorbike, my Eerdinger, my Bible, YouTube and friends.
I enjoy movies, my iPod, my philosophy books, Bob Dylan, but I can live without them.
I enjoy meeting people from different countries and sharing experiences.
My favorite author is C.S.Lewis. My favorite Lewis quote is: "God whispers to us in our joys, speaks to us in our conscience and shouts to us in our pain."
I love travelling and making friends.
I hope you will have an enjoyable and comfortable memory of your stay in this apartment.
