The location and surroundings of this home is what made us want to live here. We are part of the Lake Junaluska Assembly. However, our home is located across the street. To enhance the privacy is the beautiful wooded setting on three sides of the home. Sometimes, you can see golfers up the hill, at the 15th green. Many times they are looking for a lost ball in the midst of the trees. The master suite and the hot tub are guest favorites. Next, and equally beautiful, is the newly remodeled kitchen/dining area. The open layout and seating leave no one out of the conversation while preparing a meal. Last, the easy access to US 19 and Interstate 40. Restaurants are minutes away within the Waynesville and Maggie Valley area. Otherwise, it's a short 30 minute drive into Asheville.
There is enough parking available for up to three cars.

About the owner: My husband, Curtis and I were childhood sweethearts from the Midwest. When our children left home we decided to live out our own dreams. Curt loves to hike, and I love him, so off we went to seek a home in the Smoky Mountains. Not to be left behind, our adult children followed us. Now, our children and grandchildren reside in the area, and love it, as well! We live a short distance from the cottage and personally manage all aspects of it.
I am a National Board Certified Specialist in Education, as well as a multi-instrumentalist. I am a voice coach and teach private music lessons from my home studio.
Curtis is a Licensed Landscape Contractor and Wildlife Conservationist. He manages the grounds for Biltmore Estate, as well.
Our life motto is, "You never have a second chance to make a first impression." We apply this motto to the guests visiting our cottage by making sure your first impression is the best we can offer.
