A true 5 star experience from the host, the location, to the home. Judie contacted us to ensure we had directions, met us at the house, provided a tour, made great dining/sightseeing suggestions and answered all of our questions. The property and views was fantastic and had all of the amenities we needed as a family with a 6 year old. It was our first time to the area, but we definitely felt we would prefer it over being in Pismo or closer to the tourist trap areas which we found congested and overpriced. You're still very close to it all, but Arroyo Grande and its downtown had a much better pace for us.
Met with Judie as soon as we got there and not only was she pleasant as could be, but the casita was amazing as well. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the weekend. I highly recommend Casita Las Brisas! Def staying here the next time we're in the SLO area.
This place is stunning. Beautiful views. Gorgeous area. House was immaculate and well-stocked for cooking family meals. Imagine sitting out under the stars in the hot tub at night. Highly recommended!
Casita Las Brisas, was a small slice of heaven! It was a wonderful wedding week for our son and such a fantastic place to rest in between all the wedding craziness. The views were unbelievable from just about anywhere around the site and from the Casitas. The hot tube was so nice in the cool evenings
Judie the host was amazing and so welcoming. We'll be back every year from now on!!!!!!
Judie was an excellent host! She informed our group about good restaurant options and local attractions. The home was mutinously clean and absolutely gorgeous! We can't wait for our next opportunity to fly back out to California. We will be staying at Casita Las Brisas again for sure.
The kitchen was well stocked in terms of pots, pans and other items necessary for meal prep. We opted to make several of our meals right at the house (the kitchen is really nice)!
Judie was very experienced as a host. She made herself very accessible in case we needed assistance, and she double checked the propane for the big grill on the back patio.
Judie made me and my friends feel very welcomed to the Casita! She greeted us promptly when we arrived and was informative and polite. She made sure to cover all the basics and instructions, and we enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine.
The home is exactly as pictured, simply beautiful. It is very peaceful. Nothing around but beautiful skies, greenery and canyon. A few days here will provide you with the environment you need to lower your blood pressure. Julie was very responsive to help us get there and get situated as well as a plethora of knowledge on local things. I will definitely be back.
About the Host, Judie
I love hosting people in San Luis Obispo and sharing my local knowledge with them. It's a wonderful town - great food, farmer's markets, and great people.
