Located within the Quartier International, the international business district of Montreal - which houses a wealth of international and national organizations and corporations, as well as the Convention Centre -
Rue St Francois Xavier also presents itself as a perfect gateway from which to explore the rich history of Old Montreal, the so-called birthplace of Canada. Here, it is possible to step back in time, as the old city's cobbled streets, churches, ancient squares, restaurants and galleries beckon with their magical appeal.
the apartment is only minutes from the airport, the train station, the metro system and a significant autoroute (highway)
Hakim's place was perfectly located for events at the Palais de Congrès de Montréal. We were a bit surprised to find most of the dishes still in the dishwasher, and didn't notice them until we were getting ready to leave. Not a complaint, just be sure to check there. The apartment was clean and pretty much as I expected. The futon is a bit uncomfortable, but it's a futon so you're probably not expecting much to begin with. The bed was clean and cozy. I'd be glad to stay here again. My only complaint is that once we arrived, I inquired about the parking pass mentioned on the listing and Hakim never responded. With that said, there is a reasonably priced garage very close by which was a fine accommodation.
Hakim was very prompt in replying to my queries and his apartment is situated very close to the Metro and Old Port. The apartment itself is well furbished with the essential for a holiday or business travel. Value for money!
Unfortunately, the day of our arrival my girlfriend and I were notified that the apartment which we rented was under maintenance and we would not be able to stay in it. Though we were disappointed, Hakim and his team switched us to an apartment only a few blocks away at no additional charge. The apartment had everything we needed and offered a nice central location to everything we wanted to see.
