What a great experience! Paul and I did our first AirBNB with Leron and Dennis and what a great experience! Their home was lovely, clean, and friendly. The accommodations were just we expected based on the listing. It felt like home each day we left and came back to "our home" during our 4 day 3 night stay. We used Uber to get around town and that was the perfect combination! We will definitely recommend them and better than that, we will stay with them the next time we visit NOLA which we hope will be some time real soon.
Dennis and Leron had some great suggestions on some local things that my boyfriend and I could do during our visit. Dennis greeted us at the door and showed us our rooms. I was able to chat a bit with both of them between our coming and going. I learned a great deal about them as individuals and as a couple. I'm happy that they felt comfortable sharing pieces of their stories with us :) We were only visiting for a few days so we were not in the house much. They keep the house very clean although the shared bathroom between guests could be a little cleaner.
First off we arrived later than originally planned and even though Leron gave detailed instructions about how to gain entry because they'd be asleep, we were pleasantly surprised to find them both awake and waiting for us upon arrival. Leron and Dennis are AWESOME. Very hospitable, warm, super friendly and full of entertaining conversation. The accommodations are impeccable and exactly as they are in the photos. Everything is orderly and clean and welcoming. Their house rules are simple and direct. We experienced absolutely no issues with anything during our stay.
Dennis and Leron have a nice, clean home. The bed was comfortable, it was a 20-30 minute walk to the quarter.
The hosts were very friendly and let us do our washing when we needed to.
Unfortunately the Internet connection in the rooms wasn't very good so you had to go to the living room to use the Internet (I was told they will fix this for future guests)
There wasn't a lot of alone time or privacy here as the hosts were SO friendly.
Also being New Orleans the hosts had a tendency to drink a lot each night which led to unprofessional and uncomfortable conversations.
Unfortunately I will not stay here again.
Leron and Dennis keep a tidy household (clean room, sheets, and bathroom for house guests). They are gracious and active hosts, offering sound directions for navigating from their neighborhood to the French Quarter by foot (~20 min), or by nearby bus/street car to other New Orleans sites (buses along main arteries toward Decatur and to Canal Street, to connect with street cars). They were very accommodating about storing my luggage at noon check-out, until my transportation arrived later in the day. I hope to stay with them again.

About the Host, Leron And Dennis
We loved New Orleans so much that we bought a house and moved from New York City. We are enjoying our time exploring the city that we have come to call home. Both of us work in the Quarter and spend our spare time enjoying all the attractions that the Big Easy has to offer. Come visit with us and we will help you discover the city that is New Orleans.
