We love staying at Tyn Llain! The cottage is warm, homely and cosy and retains all its old charm and character, yet still provides guests with loads of space. The sitting room is our favourite, with its big windows allowing the light to flood in and a log burner. We had a love…

A very pleasant property, much bigger than on the photo as it has had a double sized extension. A really lovely sun filled lounge with a fab log burner. No TV in the new lounge which makes for a very civilised experience. The small lounge in the old house is also very cosy wit…

Our stay at Tyn Llain exceeded our expectations and was perfect in every way. House is spacious and there was plenty of room for our large group of 8. The second living room with the wood stove was a great place to relax. The house was nice and warm with plenty of hot water and e…

Photo's don't do it justice. This is a lovely cosy cottage with very modern bathrooms and kitchen and a large comfortable lounge containing a beautiful wood burner. You are 40minutes drive from the foot of Snowdon and very close to Hollyhead where you can get a ferry to Dublin in…

I booked Tyn Llain for a week in September for a family group of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Prior to arriving, communication from Joe was good and I was given the opportunity to ask any questions I may have. The directions were excellent, as was the house manual which gave a wealth…

Hi Natalie, Thank's for you positive comments. A few notes on the minor issues that we will also add to the handbook for future guests if it wasn't already covered: * This is a family home and, while we welcome any visitors with kids or otherwise, is not especially toddler friendly as the children in our family are grown up. Parents are of course welcome to and ultimately responsible for the moving of any breakables out of reach of their kids. * We want to offer our guests a modern and is fully equipped kitchen. Many guests have either been happy to find all the appliances available or asked what is there beforehand. Guests are free to move kitchen appliances to cupboards to create work surface space. We leave our condiments and spices available for your use. If you need more kitchen cupboard space feel free to move our stuff out of the way. * As mentioned in the handbook there is parking for 2 cars, 3 at a squeeze. You do need to manoeuvre carefully as the track leading to the farmhouse is tight. * As mentioned in the handbook regarding Windows and doors: To lock the front door, push the handle up and then turn the key. Keys to windows are kept on window ledges. One key opens all windows. A safety catch is fitted to the bunk bedroom window only, to limit how far it will open. Just a little advice to someone new to airbnb. I can't stress enough to really read all the information before booking to stay somewhere on airbnb. Hosts tend to work really hard to cover everything and always welcome more questions like "how toddler friendly is the cottage" for example. Thanks for the feedback as it helps us improve the information and also the experience for future guests. Best regards Joe and the whole family.

Great house for a nice family weekend away. A great cycle route goes past the house and all the way to a lovely forest and beach. Perfect for an outdoor weekend.
