Amazing ground floor private apartment in the most historical home on the island. Experience JC Penney's house for yourself. The apartment has all the comforts of home and the ability to add on if your group grows. There are 2 additional Bayfront suites so this apartment can sleep up to 6 people.

The Apartment is Located centrally on the desirable South Bay Front of Balboa Island, California. This is a deluxe one Bedroom, one Bathroom spacious (approximately 1200 sq ft) Balboa Island vacation rental apartment, steps to the beautiful Newport Bay and a ferry boat ride to the Balboa Peninsula.

This Balboa Island vacation rental apartment features 2 private patios, 1 large Master Suite with Queen Size Bed (cable TV and DVD player) and Deluxe Bath with double sinks, a soaking tub and shower, and a large walk-in closet. The Master Suite opens to a private patio with a lush garden seating area. Just on the other side of this garden gate is the walkway to the beautiful bay. Enjoy your morning coffee outside on the patio and listen to the delicate sounds of the bay and ocean beyond. At night if you open the windows you can hear the waves crashing at the famous Wedge Beach on the Balboa Peninsula.

The Balboa Island accommodation has a tastefully decorated Living Room and Kitchen area has 2 large convertible couches and is a place for relaxing in comfort. It is fully equipped with 2 Flat Screen Cable TV's, VCR/DVD Player, CD player, and Wireless Internet. The built-in bookcase contains a great selection of books to read, movies to watch, and games to play. French Doors lead to a second larger garden patio featuring a very private dining area with table, chairs, umbrella, BBQ and fountain.

This Balboa Island vacation condo has a fully supplied kitchen that includes a Sub Zero refrigerator, trash compactor, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave and Thermador electric range. The breakfast bar overlooks the kitchen and patio.

The Bay Front Balboa Island vacation apartment is only steps away from the Balboa Island Beach. During your stay, take a leisurely walk around the island (2.7 miles) and enjoy the spectacular views of the bay, the elegant homes and quaint village shops and restaurants of Balboa Island.

You are only a one minute ferry ride away to the Balboa Peninsula. There you will find the Balboa Fun Zone (arcades, ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and other rides), the Historic Balboa Pavilion and Restaurant (landmark of Newport Beach), the Catalina Express Boat to Catalina Island, rental and harbor cruise boats, Balboa Pier and the famous Wedge surf beach along with other great sandy beaches.

Laguna Beach, the renowned artist colony, home of Pageant of the Masters and the Sawdust Festival, is only 7 scenic miles away along the Pacific Coast Highway with dramatic views of the ocean and surrounding Orange County estate homes.

Other Orange County attractions such as Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are only half hour drive from your seaside hideaway.
