Hard Rock Cafe' Florence
Tutto ottimo, grazie Roberto.
Roberto's place in Florence was very charming and conveniently located. He was also able to accommodate a late check out by letting us keep our bags in the apartment during the day, which was extremely helpful. The bed was comfortable and the location was such that we could walk everywhere we wanted (even the train station). The only downside was some late night noise on the street (really great sandwich shop downstairs, but apparently they serve all night long). Otherwise, perfect for our 3 day visit in Florence!
We stayed three nights in Roberto's apartment in Florence at the end of March. We absolutely loved Florence. The apartment is in a very old building on a historical and very lively street. The apartment is steps away from the Uffizi gallery and other local attractions. Florence is a very walkable city, and this apartment is in an excellent location. As it is (email hidden)ly street with popular wine bars and restaurants, the noise from the street could be heard late into the night. This was not a big concern for us however, as the location more than made up for the noise.
As for the apartment itself, it is one room with a comfortable bed, a sofa, kitchen table, and a basic kitchen with a two burner gas portable cook top and a small fridge. It has rustic wooden beams and wood floors. We enjoyed the look and feel of the apartment when we came home from sightseeing during the day.
The bathroom was small, and there was very limited hot water every time we showered in the morning. There was only about one minute of hot water, and the rest of our showers were with either lukewarm or cold water.
Very nice place, within walking distance of duomo and 1/2 block from uffizi. Good vibe and eateries downstairs. It is a studio good enough for two people. Very basic kitchen, but we never used it. Coffee and cheap paninis 2€ downstairs. I definitely recommend.
Beautiful apartment, very typical of Tuscany. Very well located, super clean and equipped. Roberto an excellent host, gave us great tips about the city.
If you want to enjoy the beauty of Florence, stay with Roberto!
Roberto's flat in the heart of Florence is a wonderful place to stay. It offers easy access to all of the main attractions of Florence and provides a nice, quiet oasis in a bustling city. Decorated with Roberto's own art, this charming apartment was perfect for us. Getting in and getting keys was quick and easy. We definitely hope to stay with Roberto again when we return to Florence.
Think Roberto's loft is a great pad in an historic building in old Florence ,close to
many of the main attractions...
In addition to this there is lots of activity downstairs at the Antico bar &an interesting choice of local eateries ..
It was a pleasure to meet Roberto ,who also had an interesting story to tell as a well known local artisan
Would be happy to use this unique apartment again.
Ciao ciao everyone
We loved Roberto's place. The location cannot be beat. We were steps away from the Uffizi and the Piazza della Signoria, truly in the center of Florence. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We were there on the weekend, and the street below was a little noisy at night, but probably what you'd find anywhere in central Florence. Roberto was very easy to communicate with and he found us as we walked up for the room. He's a very nice guy and made sure we were taken care of.
i have rented other apartments in Florence, they have all been very modern and sleek. In each one I have felt comfort but not "at home".
If I were ever able to buy an apartment in Florence I would want one just like Roberto's. Clean, comfortable, excellent location , with what i call the younger son charm of exposed wood beams and a 15 century exposed hearth where he cleverly placed the kitchen. The markets, wine stores, bars, Churches, and new and exciting restaurants, are all within a short walking distance not to mention the shopping. This was a perfect bachelor loft pad if you get my drift guys
Would highly recommend this apartment- was perfect for our stay in Florence. Always felt really safe and was close to everything we wanted to see while we were there. Loved being so close to great gelato, amazing sandwiches and "la prosciutteria".
