There is a fenced yard for your dog (up to 60 lbs.., with current shots), to play in, with an adjoining area that is great for a walk.

Other things to note
MOUNTAIN VIEWS are the very best this time of year! Wonderful sunrises and sunsets all year round. Summer beauty is amazing!
We sit in 200 acres of gorgeous woods, with very few other homes!

Our guests always mention the Serene, QUIET atmosphere but, we are just 15 minutes to Staunton/Augusta Health Hospital, 6 minutes to Waynesboro, for shopping and restaurants and 25 minutes easy drive to UVA Hospital.

We are only three minutes to the major Interstate, I-64 at Exit 99. This is the exit you take to visit Shenandoah Park, Appalachian Trail, Blue Ridge Skyway or Skyline Drive. We're only a few minutes from these renowned attractions.

Ten minutes to Route 151, the brewery, distillery and winery trail!

We are on the top of Afton Mountain, but less than three minutes to Exit 99 on I-64. Stunning 25 mile and 180 degree views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Rockfish Valley.

Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets! Squirrels, rabbits, deer, all live here too. We enjoy watching cardinals, finches, chickadees, goldfinches, woodpeckers and doves. Spring migration brings many other birds to our feeders, as they pass through. We often find a dozen+ deer feasting on our lawn. A beautiful sight. Experience the magic at "Hawk's Perch."

-There are acres of woods and a lane suitable for walking that adjoin this property,. Suitable for walking your dog or yourself. Across the street are unique stone houses, some close to 100 years old.
-Proximity to Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive & Blue Ridge Mountains is a highlight, JUST A QUARTER MILE AWAY, BUT we are also...
-JUST A FEW MINUTES DRIVE from Exit 99 on I-64, great location for travel nurses to access local hospitals.
-This area is called Swannanoa based on the proximity to the Swannanoa Castle. We can arrange a tour of the Castle for you. They have an internet presence and you might want to check that out. Please do not go past the chain link fence, that sections off Swannanoa Castle, without permission.
-Swannanoa Country Club with golf course is just a few minutes away.
-Grocery stores are just six to seven minute drive away.
-151 Brew Trail is about five minutes drive.
-Crozet Tunnel is jut a mile or so away for hiking.
