  • We stayed here for Easter Weekend with our kids (ages 4-13). The cabin was great and the kids (and us) loved the cabin. Nicely remodeled, well stocked, comfortable beds and bedding. Also had a nice hot tub and steam shower (which my husband raved about). Would recommend highly. My kids loved the cabin and want to stay there again! A pleasant stay close to the village.

  • We had a lovely stay at Peaceful Pines! The house was the perfect size for 2 couples, a 2 year old and a few very happy dogs! We enjoyed grilling on the back patio, the hot tub in the backyard and the very comfortable beds. The home was clean and comfortable and located very close to the lake. Lovely night away from the LA craziness!

  • Our last minute stay at Peaceful Pines Lodge was fantastic! The cabin is adorable - clean, well stocked and very nicely decorated. The kitchen and master bath have both been beautifully updated and the beds are super comfortable.

We used both the steam shower (awesome!) and the hot tub (ditto!) and walked to the nearby brewery to watch the Final Four. The brewery staff was super friendly and we ended up spending double the time we had intended. As others have mentioned, the house is very dog friendly and even has a doggy door - and that meant we could sleep in without worry.

I ended up texting a number of friends and family telling them we needed to start making plans for our next visit. Thanks, Genevieve and Evan, for a great weekend.

  • Wow! This is absolutely the best place to stay in Big Bear. Also, if you have dogs, they will be in Heaven! It looks better than the pictures and the hosts are very helpful. Neither my dogs nor my husband wanted to leave!! It seemed to me to be on a private road with few houses around. We felt like we were in our own second home. The steam shower and the outdoor spa were fabulous. Barbecuing was simple and easy; as my husband barbecued every night we were there. I would most definitely return. . . see for yourself! Thank you Genevieve and Evan!

  • Everything was perfect for our stay this weekend!
We didn't have to pack much other than our food and we were pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the house was with spices, cooking utensils, heaters, and it's so perfect for pets! We spent a lot of time outdoors watching the dogs run laps around both of the huge yards. The hot tub was very relaxing and all of my guests had a chance to use the steamroom. It was such a nice ammentity to have. Thank you so much Genevieve and Evan! I look foward to spending more time there in the future:)

  • My family's stay at Peaceful Pines Lodge was absolutely wonderful! The beds are super comfy, the steam shower is heaven after a day on the slopes, location is perfect and the fully fenced yard a bonus for those of us that travel with our dogs. Genevieve and Evan, thank you for opening your home to us and being so easy to work with. This will be our go to place to stay every time we are vacationing in Big Bear!

  • Genevieve and Evan were more than kind. I went up and stayed for a weekend for my birthday with some friends. The beds were really comfy and everything was nice and spacious. The steam shower was the best and that bathroom was awesome as well. Everything was real close by market, restaurant's and right by the village too. When we decide to go back we will definitely look into staying there again! We had an amazing time and Genevieve and Evan made sure of that. Very nice people!

  • Thank you so much for allowing us to use your cabin this week. We had a blast! The cabin was well stocked and very comfortable and we enjoyed the perks of the hot tub and steam shower as well. The kitchen worked out well for our cooking/meal needs and the appliances were nice. A nice fire in the fireplace and warm weather on the patio were great as well. Some of our family lives in L.A. and others normally live in Nairobi, Kenya, so it was a treat for us to be able to spend a little time together up at Big Bear - for our first time - and enjoy staying together in your cabin.

  • What a beautiful and cozy home! The hot tub is great, and the steam shower is wonderful after a long day on the mountain. Plenty of space for 6 people. The open layout of the living room and kitchen is wonderful for quality time with loved ones. What a wonderful visit.
The owners made the whole experience painless and fun.
