Your Room: Clean, comfortable, & cozy with a king sized bed. Your private bathroom has a claw foot tub and a separate shower (with a steam bath!).
The House: Built in 1898, it's got character - including some funky bits and some awesome bits. We like the large covered back porch, the high ceilings, the creaky old floors, the rubble stone foundation, and the spacious kitchen with a jaunty blue stove.
Us: You'll share the common areas of our home with James, Lori, Freyja & Samson (our young dogs), and Buster & Fidda (our cats). We keep the pets out of your room, but they hang out all over the house.
- High speed wireless internet available.
- Plentiful street parking, walking distance to several bus lines.
- No smoking inside.
Please contact us if you are interested in staying longer than a few days so we can chat and see if our place will meet your needs.

James and Lori were super helpful and their place was spectacular. Really great location - we walked to a delicious cafe and were able to find late night eats when we arrived.
They were great hosts and it made us want to stay in Albuquerque for longer!
great place to stay. Clean, modern, private. Hosts were very accomodating. Great kitchen. Will stay there again.
It was a very pleasant stay with James and Lori. The accommodation is absolutely great and their is no catch at all. I can only recommend to stay with these very friendly people at this very nice house. Thumbs up!
This was our first stay at an Airbnb and it will certainly not be our last; what a great system. My husband and I are friendly folk and it suited us to be sharing James and Lori's lovely home with them. They are an interesting young professional couple so it was fun to hang round their kitchen and learn about them and New Mexico. One would need to be animal appreciators to stay with them as they have 2 large rambunctious dogs and 2 quirky cats who can often found on top of the furniture or in the sink! We were prepared so it was fine.
My husband and I agreed that the only suggestion we would make for change would be the addition of a TV to either the bed or living room. As the Olympics were on, it would have been nice to have easy access to a TV although James and Lori did pull up an extra chair so could watch with them one evening.
If you are gregarious animal lovers, James and Lori's place would be a great fit!
My stay here was absolutely wonderful; the house is beautiful and has such character, and my bedroom was comfortable and homey, not to mention the amazing bathroom with the gorgeous pink tub and steam shower! James & Lori were so friendly and made me feel so welcome, they also have two dogs and two cats who were also a joy to be around!
The binder is the bedroom was particularly helpful with suggestions such as The Grove and Holy Cow, great places to eat in the area! The house is centrally located, you can get to Nob Hill and Old Town easily (take the 66 bus to each of these if you aren't driving) and the house is short walk away from the train station, where you can catch the scenic Rail Runner to Santa Fe! My stay couldn't have been better, especially for a lone traveller, thank you!
Second time staying with James and Lori! The place is just as awesome as it was before. Maybe even more awesome because now they have two dogs for my wife to play with. Stay here, you wont regret it. The room is amazing, the location is excellent. James and Lori are awesome hosts and very friendly. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in ABQ, unless this place was booked!
This my second time staying with James and Lori. They are great hosts! The keyless entry is convenient and so is the location of the house because of its proximity to downtown. You get your own bathroom, section of their fridge (which they stock with goodies), and nice folks to chat with and provide recommendations on places to go if you need it. The binder in the room is helpful! My fiancé and I live in Santa Fe and this is our preferred place to stay when we are in Albuquerque. Be sure to book ahead because this place is definitely in demand. We highly recommend staying here!
The hosts were very nice and the room and en suite bathroom impeccable. Very charming space and convenient to our favorite downtown restaurants.
We loved staying with James and Lori! James greeted us at the door and made us feel welcome and comfortable in their beautiful Victorian home. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated and they provided everything we needed to feel at home--they really went the extra mile. The bathroom has a fantastic steam shower that was much needed after a 12-hour drive. Their home is conveniently located and walking-distance from a fantastic restaurant they recommended named "The Grove." James and Lori are experienced hosts and they made our first experience with Airbnb a very positive one. We definitely recommend them!
I had an amazing stay in Albuquerque, and that was all thanks to the hosts! The house is so lovely and has a great homely feel! The bed was very comfortable and was a great size!
They told me loads of places to go, and were very accommodating!
Don't think about booking, just do it, you will have an amazing time
