Interaction with Guests
I am always available by email and phone. I also try to stop by and say hello most guests.
What I love about Little Italy, is on certain mornings when the wind is blowing just right, the smell of the local bakery is just a mouth watering delight.
Public transit is very conveniently located and is no further than 1 block away.
The Golden Rule: Always be aware of the sound you are producing as there always other guests above or below you.
This was a very comfortable place for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teens to stay while we were visiting Cleveland. We were here to tour Case Western Reserve and the location not only gave us east access to the university but also allowed us to feel part of a neighborhood and get to know Cleveland while we were here. Great resterants in the area and yummy cannoli at the local bakery.
The place itself was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and spacious enough for us to hang out and relax in the evening. The host was very available had we needed anything more. The one bathroom had a nice shower, large counter/ sink area and was stocked with plenty of towels, toilet paper etc... Everything was taken care of perfectly.
Thanks for a great first visit to Cleveland.
The listing was accurate and everything I needed was there. Due to significant snowfall, getting in and out of the place was a challenge, (except on foot). Fortunately, there was a small market on Marry Hill Road less than a block away where I could get food.
Lovely place and yes, it is within walking distance -- about 12 houses from Mayfield -- the main street in Cleveland's Little Italy. Adam (host/owner) did a magnificent job on the remodel of this bottom unit of a duplex. Spacious and trendy but very comfy. Nice touches like coffee in kitchen and some Kashi bars in the cupboard too. We enjoyed our stay. Had a small issue with the furnace and Adam popped over within 1/2 hour and had it fixed pronto.
Large screen TV, video game player, 78 RPM record player and a vast record collection. There is Wi-Fi and also a landline.
Host was helpful in check-in, check-out and communicated with us via email and phone which was great because we did not have a printer to print out all the instructions on how to use the lockbox for the keys etc. Place was spotless, plenty of towels and even a box of toiletries in the bathroom area if you need them.
A friend and I stayed here while interviewing at UH. The place was clean and cute, I loved the eclectic decor. It had everything we needed including coffee. It was just a few minutes from UH so it worked out perfectly.
Myself and five of my friends stayed at his house in little Italy. Location turned out to be perfect for the conference that we were attending at the Cleveland Institute of Art. There are many restaurants in walking distance in addition to a grocery store and a delicious bakery that we frequented almost every day. The place was clean and had a wood cabin sort of feel. The heat works well and the beds were comfortable. The place was quiet for sleeping. The living room is a bit smaller than it seemed in the photograph. We really enjoyed his eclectic record collection & DIY decor! There were plenty of towels for all 6 of us which was lovely. Overall, An A experience. Thanks!
Nice, clean, bottom floor apartment located right in the middle of Little Italy with short walk to restaurants, bakery, Case Western and University Hospital. Parking right on street with parking pass provided. Adam was there to meet us and he gave great recommendations on activities, restaurants, etc. Flexible with check-in and check-out. The only minor issue noted was on one morning the person staying in the second floor rental walked around a lot and the walking noise readily transmits down to the first floor. Thanks Adam for a very welcoming stay.
My son, daughter-in-law, two grandsons (ages 6 and 2 1/2) and I drove up to Cleveland from Georgia for my youngest daughter's wedding. We never used Airbnb before and were hoping that we would not be disappointed. We were very pleased with Adam's apartment and all the amenities it afforded. Little Italy is a super place. We all LOVE Italian food and were wishing that we had more than a few days to spend there so we could sample it. We did get pizza from Mama Santas. OMG, it was "to die for." Anyway, I digress. Adam was a wonderful host and his place had everything Iincluding an iron, ironing board, and detergent for the 2 washers in the basement. The boys had a ball hiding in the hall closet and playing with their 5 year old cousin. If I come back up to Cleveland and cannot stay with my daughter and new son-in-law, I would not hesitate to stay at Adam's again.
