Kwan Yin Cottage is part of Healing Waters of Shasta, a 10-acre sanctuary located in the beautiful Medicine Spring Valley. The land is a rare energetic vortex, basking in the natural beauty of the Eddies Mountain Range and alpine wetlands. Peace and serenity permeate the entire property.

Like our main house, the cottage is situated on sacred land where Red (Shakti) and White (Shiva) Mineral Springs naturally flow and merge into the creek—a powerful symbol of balance. Many guests report feeling a deep sense of calm and clarity the moment they arrive.

Your Private Sanctuary

The Kwan Yin Cottage offers an intimate, private experience. It sits across the peaceful creek from the main house, offering a sense of seclusion. Experience the stunning views of the peaceful forest while you drift off to sleep listening to the soothing sounds of the creek.

This home is consciously curated as a peaceful refuge, ideal for:

Please Note: This is a residential vacation rental designed for private enjoyment. It is not a commercial event venue.

The Residence: Cozy & Complete

This cozy cottage provides everything you need for a restorative stay. It features:

A King-size bed in the loft and a Queen sofa bed in the living room.

A fully equipped kitchen for preparing simple meals.

An outdoor eating deck with a peaceful creek view.

High-speed mesh Wi-Fi (please note: reliability varies due to our canyon location).

Yoga Studio: The Siddhanath Enlightenment Studio is available for use by special arrangement (additional use and cleaning fees apply). Please inquire in advance.

Kwan Yin Cottage is licensed by Siskiyou County as a vacation rental so come, relax, and enjoy the beauty of Mother Nature.

The lower Kwan Yin cottage is our laundry room. It has a separate entrance. Availability of use is per request only.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to the upper Kwan Yin Cottage and shared access to the grounds, mineral springs, and creek areas for nature walks and relaxation.

The mystical "Crystal Pool" is just minutes away for a refreshing dip.

Other things to note
To protect the sacred energy of this land, our neighbors, and the high-risk forest environment, our core rules are non-negotiable and strictly enforced. Please review them before booking.

CRITICAL: IMMEDIATE REMOVAL POLICY

Violation of the following key safety and sanctuary rules will result in the immediate cancellation of your reservation. You and all guests in your group will be required to vacate the property immediately without any refund.

Due to the fast flowing creek, Crystal Pool, and uneven trails, we require our guests to sign a waiver of liability before check-in. By requesting a booking, you agree to sign the waiver of liability. We will send the waiver to you within 5-7 days of check-in.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING or Vaping: Strictly prohibited anywhere on the property (indoors or outdoors). This is an extreme fire-risk area.

ABSOLUTELY NO OPEN FLAMES: This includes campfires, bonfires, fire pits, incense, or candles. You are in a high-risk forest canyon.

NO PETS: We cannot accommodate pets of any kind due to the nature of the sanctuary and to prevent allergic symptoms in some guests.

NO PARTIES or COMMERCIAL EVENTS: This booking is for a residential stay only. No outside guests, loud music, or amplified sound.

STRICTLY ALCOHOL-FREE PROPERTY: To maintain the serene atmosphere, we require that no alcohol be brought onto the land.

QUIET HOURS: 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM. This is a quiet, rural area where sound travels.

SHOES OFF: Please remove shoes upon entering to keep the home pristine.

The sacred land is in a remote area. Beware of cougars, bears and other wild animals as they have been sighted in the neighborhood in the past. Scorpions, snakes, and other wild insects have also been on the properties. Shasta Trinity Forest is our neighbor.
