Welcome to a quiet retreat, perfectly located just steps from everything Venice has to offer. The ultimate indoor-outdoor living space includes a studio bungalow that's extended and surrounded by lush outdoor living rooms and fruit trees for you to enjoy. Stay home and grill, walk to the new restaurants and shops along Lincoln Blvd. and Rose Ave., or take the bikes for a quick ride to the beach and Boardwalk. This is only available for a minimum 30-day rental.

The space
As our bungalow guests, the entire garden and outdoor living rooms are yours to enjoy. There's a large dining table that seats up to 8. You're welcome to invite a few guests to host your own dinner party. There's also a gas fire pit to lounge around in the evening. There are plenty of fruit trees throughout the garden (lemon, lime, tangerine, lemon guava) that you're welcome to pick when there's fruit. Same goes for the rosemary, thyme, lavender and other herbs and flowers throughout the garden.

We have a friendly dog who roams the garden throughout the day and we have two boys, a 7 and 3 year old who are in school throughout the day but play outside for a short while after school.

The bungalow and garden are quiet and private and you have your own private entry.

We have plentiful, free, permit-free street parking as well as access to a free lot that can be used during the day.

Guest access
We live in the front house on the property. The bungalow is located in the back of the property lot and is separated by our large garden and outdoor living spaces. You'll have your own private entrance and access to two beach cruisers during your stay.

Other things to note
The kitchen area is stocked with tableware/glassware and utensils to prepare small meals, and the gas grill is all yours -- located right outside the front door of your bungalow. Inside the bungalow, we have a coffee pot, electric kettle, countertop toaster oven, an electric griddle perfect for eggs and pancakes in the morning, a bar refrigerator. There's no freezer and no indoor oven/stove range. We have heating and air conditioning, an in-unit washer/dryer, access to wifi and Roku TV with an abundance of streaming service to enjoy.

Neighborhood highlights

We live on the north end of Venice near the Santa Monica border. We're near the main intersection of Lincoln Blvd. and Rose Ave. There's plenty to do within walking distance of our house -- restaurants, coffee shops, and boutiques as well as grocery stores including Smart & Final and Whole Foods. The beach is about a mile away, a quick bike ride or about a 20 minute walk with plenty to explore along the way.
