Everything was perfect, location, quiet, clean and cozy. Christopher was an amazing host, he picked us up at the bus station and our arrival and even drop us the day we left. He was a good guide, we followed his advices on wich restaurant to eat and wich place to visit in Oia and we didnt regret, it was an amazing stay in Santorini. Christopher even spoke french ! :) I would reccomend his place to anyone staying in Santorini, its awesome ! 5 star !
Santorini is really beautifil and Christopher's place it's a nice way to enjoy Oia. We rented a car with his help and enjoyed other places in the island. The studio is confortable, clean and you can see Mediterrâneo open the windows ans it is really something! Certanly we would be there again.
Christopher is a fantastic host. He really takes the time to make you feel welcome and maps out the island for you with ideas/recommendations, then leaves you to enjoy your vacation.
The rooms are quaint and comfortable. The garden is relaxing and well put together. New bar is a nice addition, although we only used it to get water for our room and days out. Location is close enough to walk to the Oia center, but I found a scooter was nice to have.
Overall loved the place for its "off the beaten path" feel, charm, and picturesque view. Christopher is a fantastic host, as evident by mine and all other reviews. Wish we would have stayed longer.
EcoXenia was so lovely. Christopher was kind and helpful before and during our stay. The place is clean and has a gorgeous view of the sea. The garden is lovely and all of the staff were friendly. We rented a car because based on other reviews the studio was a little far from the town of Oia. It would have been a 10 minute or so walk up to Oia, which we could have done easily although much of the walk is uphill. (Also, the dogs you pass when walking are so mild-tempered and not to be worried about at all.) But we enjoyed having a car as it was inexpensive, convenient, and a great way to explore the island. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed being able to cook our own food in the little kitchen and eating out on our private patio. We will be back!
We had such a wonderful stay at EcoXenia. Christopher welcomed us and gave us the local low-down on Oia, the town that is about a 15 min walk away from the studios (make sure to bring your walking shoes - it's up a hill, but a great way to get energized for exploring the city's offerings). He was always happy to answer our questions about directions, etc! We took his advice to go down to Amoudi Bay for fresh seafood and it was the highlight of our trip.
We loved our cosy little cabin room, it had everything we needed and more. Lovely decor. We made use of the kitchenette especially, some days opting to get groceries and bring them back to have a patio dinner. Clean and well maintained while still having a wild, garden oasis feel. Could not recommend enough - thank you so much Christopher!

About the Host, Christopher
Hello. I'm Christopher and I live in Santorini since 1992. I am the owner of Ecoxenia Studios.
If you will come to my island, view that you have a friend here. We can drink a glass of wine together and show you the alternative way to discover the secrets of the island.
Traditional vineyard, winemaking, fishing, volcanology, geology, architecture, ecology, belongs to my interests and we could share them together.
And as I’m professor of Physics we could talk about the essence of things hidden under the surface…..
