Merci beaucoup Chris !
We did not feel welcome.
Keep in mind when you read this review that Chris has had all positive reviews over a long time, so our experience is not typical, and hopefully won't be yours.
Chris herself was wonderful, cheerful, welcoming. She volunteered to meet us at the bus station and drive us to our room. Her parents were the opposite. They stayed in their room, didn't greet at all. I wouldn't have known they were there at all - except they kept turning off the A/C! (At the time- 4 days ago- the room was offered with A/C.) Finally, I emailed Chris to complain. She rushed over with a fan, and removed A/C from her listing.
A second problem involved a towel. The towel I was given was rough and worn. I grabbed another from our bathroom. It was plain, white, nothing special. When Chris came over with the fan, she told me her mother complained I had used her towel! We were told the bathroom was for our exclusive use, and there was nothing to indicate it wasn't okay to use this plain, ordinary towel.
When the time came, we were happy to leave as we didn't feel welcome. I feel Chris' parents aren't happy with her renting out the room in their place, and that she needs to work things out with them if she's going to continue to be successful. We like her and wish her luck.

First, we have NEVER had PROBLEMS with any guests in 2 years. If you see our profile you'll see a lot of positive reviews. These "guests" didn't have considerate about our home (especially with personal items). They opened our bathroom cabinet WITHOUT PERMISSION (it was closed) and took OUR PERSONAL TOWELS and the towels that we provided them they threw them on the floor. (We provided them a bath mat). It's true that we provide service about air conditioning BUT ONLY when it's hot. We are on autum not on summer! They turned on the a/a in the night (it's 15 degree at 3 am!!! Why do you turn on the air conditioning if it's cold out??). It´s a pitty that they thinking about my parents bad, because my parents are warm and welcoming with all our guests.
We live close to mountains chain so you'll know that in these places are wind) Our air conditioning is a central or general machine, so it shares out air to all room on the first floor. (I told them it but they didn't pay attention me) When they turned on the air conditioning my parents turned off it and they turned on it again (this is dangerous and very expensive) Please, my house is not a HOTEL. It's a HOUSE. If they don't know distinguish that, PLEASE DON'T USE AIRBNB. We always trying help and to make it easy to our guests. I picked them up at bus station and them I carried them to the center. So, what is their problem?
I told them that if they were hot they could open the window, besides I gave a fan. But they prefered to have all closed.
Chris was a warm and welcoming host and we had a wonderful stay in her parent's home. The home is just lovely, better than pictured! It was quiet and peaceful. It was easy to take the bus into town and nice not to have to drive and park! We would highly recommend this place.
I spent a wonderfull time in a beautifull room, made with a lot of taste. Nice and easy area..Parents of Chris and chris are the dulce leche of cordoba. The situation is perfect, you take the bus and you are in the centrum of cordoba. Chris explains very well and very completed and clearly everything. Visiting cordoba is also spend time and sleep there , meet the family. Que vaya con dios
Chris made us feel very welcome and took the time to explain all the must-see sites of Cordoba. The room was very clean and the bathroom was lovely.
Accueil chaleureux , conseils d'une grande utilité ,
Stationnement disponible en tout temps ( à ne pas dédaigner ) Très tranquille , idéal pour refaire ses forces . Avons participé à la féria du queso à Zuheros , exceptionnel !
Prior and from onset of my visit Chris was there to assist me. She met me at the bus station, helped me arrange travel plans and shows and gave me an orientation to Cordoba and sights that was so thorough I didn't need any assistance thereafter. She doesn't live in her parents home, which is very clean and a marvelous view, but helps set you up from the beginning. One needs to use the bus to go the old town, but I personally liked having a quiet retreat to return to. The bus ride is is only about 10 minutes each way. In sum, I loved my stay in Cordoba and I thank Chris for making that possible.
