It was a pleasure staying at Nick’s apartment. The location is within perfect walking distance of Boston attractions, places to eat, and the T. Everything was clean as promised. Nice, friendly neighborhood; seconds from a park. Nick is friendly, has excellent communication, and was accommodating to our needs. We didn’t have any difficulties, but it was certainly helpful to know that the host is located nearby in case we needed anything. It was our first time visiting Boston, and we would definitely stay at Nick’s again if we were to visit the city!
Host did not make us feel welcome. There was nothing extra done.
Probably the most ironic statement I've ever heard considering I answered over 40 messages, spent extra time prepping the unit specifically for unrealistic demands because she didn't know how to read the description before booking, and went out of my way on numerous occasions to walk her through various aspects of how to use airbnb, check in/out process (couldn't be simpler), and a myriad of other things. Quite simply, there is nothing that would satisfy this guest and I wouldn't accept her again for 5 times the rental price. ALL my other guests however have been wonderful, respectful, informed, and polite. Read my full review on her for more info :)
My wife and I spent a week in the Nick's apartment. It was our first experience with Airbnb and we are very well impressed. Nick was waiting for us at our arrival with the two sets of keys as we had requested him. During our stay, he was available all the time by calls and texts and ready to help for everything we needed. His apt is very well located in a quiet neighborhood, but very close by walking of many points of interest in Boston, as well as public transportation stations. This apt is well equipped, including a smart tv with internet access and it has two independents entrances in separated streets, which is a great advantage. We recommend this apt for a couple who is looking for a well located place in Boston.
My husband and I'd stayed at Nick's apartment for 4nights (9/26-30). This place was in the good location and quiet. Nick was very helpful. When I send some question, he figured out quickly and sent me back a nice message.
We went to Fenway Park to watch Derek Jeter's last series and visit Cambridge. The location was near the subway both Arlington and Copley, so it is very convenient. Newbury ST and Beacon ST, Public garden are very close. The apartment is cozy for adults. We enjoy a cool Sony TV at night too. The wireless condition was pretty good, so it is great for using our tablets. The laundry was convenient. You do not need coins.
It was a great time to stay in Nick's place and we enjoyed Boston.
Nick's place was perfect for our weekend getaway -- clean, super well located, and unexpectedly quiet. (I thought any place this close to all the best spots in Boston would have to be a little loud due to traffic or other rowdiness, but not so -- Nick's flat is tucked away on the lower floor of the building, which was a huge added bonus.) We greatly appreciated Nick's efforts to get us into the apartment in the morning, as well as his responsiveness to our texts about getting/leaving the keys. Bonus points for high-speed wifi (key to my getting some work done), travel-sized lotion (it's the little things), memory foam mattress (seriously life-changing), and Nick's lunch spot recommendation (Parish Café).
We totally enjoyed our first Airbnb experience! Nick was easy to communicate with and helpful with local tips. The apartment was exactly as promised and the location could not have been better.
