The Chicken Coop is one of two unique guest stays at **3J Farms OK**, a family-owned farm in the heart of rural Oklahoma. Once a grain bin, this cozy retreat has been thoughtfully transformed into a comfortable place to relax while preserving its rustic charm and character.
Inside, you'll find a versatile twin daybed with a pull-out trundle that easily converts into a spacious king-size bed, making it perfect for solo travelers or couples. The space also includes climate control, a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and thoughtful touches designed for a simple, comfortable stay.
A short walk away, our repurposed Milk Barn features a shared kitchen and indoor bathroom, available to guests staying in The Chicken Coop and our neighboring Peacock Room. During the warmer months, guests can also enjoy our rustic outdoor bathroom and open-air shower—a guest favorite that offers the simple pleasure of showering beneath the Oklahoma sky.
Your stay extends far beyond the grain bin. Wander the farm roads, relax by the lake (fishing available for a fee), watch our registered South Poll cattle grazing in nearby pastures, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy a picnic while taking in the peaceful countryside. During greenhouse season, you're welcome to browse our seasonal greenhouse, and if you're lucky, you'll hear Dwayne, our resident peacock, before you see him.

Guests are welcome to enjoy designated areas of the farm during their stay. The Milk Barn—the white building with red trim—is just a short walk from The Chicken Coop and houses the shared kitchen and indoor bathroom, available to guests staying in The Chicken Coop and the Peacock Room.
Take a leisurely walk along the farm roads, relax by the lake, gather around the fire pit, or enjoy a meal at one of our picnic tables while soaking in the Oklahoma countryside. During the warmer months, guests are also welcome to enjoy our seasonal outdoor bathroom and open-air shower.
As you explore, listen for the cows, chickens, and Dwayne, our resident peacock. Their sounds are all part of the authentic rhythm of life on the farm and one of the things many guests remember long after their stay.

Life on the farm follows nature's schedule, not the clock. During your stay, you may hear roosters crowing, cattle calling, tractors in the distance, or Dwayne, our resident peacock, proudly announcing his presence. You may also encounter wildlife, insects, gravel roads, and uneven ground—all part of the authentic farm experience we love to share.
**Farm Safety**
Please stay within designated guest areas and admire the livestock from outside the fences. Some of the white fencing on the farm is electric ("hot") fencing and will deliver a shock if touched. Children should be supervised while exploring the property.
**Seasonal Experiences**
Every season brings something new to enjoy at 3J Farms OK. In the spring, browse our seasonal greenhouse bursting with flowers and vegetables. Throughout the year, enjoy peaceful walks around the farm, watch our registered South Poll cattle grazing in the pastures, gather around the fire pit, take in breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, and experience incredible stargazing on clear Oklahoma nights.
