Book now.. (or don't, so that I can come back haha). We stayed in the Jepun Bungalow and it was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The hospitality is unlike anything you will ever experience, Pia is the most helpful. She made us breakfast every day, even when we had early morning plans, she would come early to make sure we were taken care of. Pia even booked activities and arranged transport for all of our daily adventures (it's the little things, booking experiences can be stressful and she took care of everything). There are 2 houses on the property and a family stayed in the main house in which we shared the pool. At first I was a little hesitant, however, it worked out and we had as much privacy as we needed/wanted, so no complaints at all. The home is very clean and surprisingly there are not many bugs/mosquitos/etc.. (yes they are there, it's part of Bali, but I've stayed in places where you can't even sleep because of the creepy crawlers!) Overall a 10/10 experience. I WILL be back to stay here and recommend it to everyone I know!

I stayed in Barbara and Henry's home in October last year and loved it so much that I couldn't wait to stay here again on this trip. This time, we stayed in the Jepun bungalow, just off the main house. It is a great little private space with everything you could need - beautiful outdoor bathroom, small kitchen with fridge and a private outdoor area to relax. The location is perfect, set in the quieter area of Penestanan among the rice fields, but still close enough to walk to the centre of Ubud. We really enjoyed the restaurants close by, especially Yellow Flower and Elephant. The Bintang supermarket is a couple of minutes walk away. Best of all, we were made to feel really at home by Barbara and Henry who are great hosts and lovely people. Likewise, Made Pia and Made Ratna were very welcoming and extremely helpful, from arranging our boat trip to the Gilis, calling the bank when I lost my card, to cooking us the best breakfasts we had on our 6 week trip. We were very sorry to leave this beautiful place, but will hopefully be back for a third time!

This was a calm oasis in Ubud and the hosts were incredibly helpful in suggestions of what to do and where to go. The house is tucked about 5 minutes off the street and you walk through flowing water and trees to get there. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer!

Made Pia's home looks exactly like the photos. The room is spacious and very beautiful. The house itself is located in a very quiet area and is around a 15 minute walk from Ubud. The driver Blue is very friendly and I would highly recommend using him whilst you are there! Our only comment is that if you're looking for a private, secluded stay with your other half then maybe this isn't the place for you, we felt is was better suited for families as you are in a close proximity to other guests. Other than that we had a lovely stay. Thank you.

We loved our stay with Made Pia! The house was very nice and comfortable, and was a lovely base to do some exploring from. Pia connected us with a driver, Blue, who was unavailable but sent his daughter Wiwi instead. We had two great days driving around with her, we got to see so many wonderful things! Made Pia also helped us book a cooking class, which was very fun. It was then so nice to relax on the veranda with the pretty garden to look at, and fountain to listen to. The highlight was definitely being brought breakfast on the veranda each morning, it felt very luxurious and was always delicious. The location was also great, very quiet and peaceful but 3-10mins walk from several wonderful restaurants, especially the Yellow Flower Cafe, which we had to resist going to every night, knowing that we should try others too, which were indeed all excellent.
