My roommate and I have a very spacious apartment in Nishi-Azabu -- a four min walk from Roppongi Hills, a commercial and architectural landmark in central Tokyo (and home to the Grand Hyatt, if you would like to compare the prices of similarly located luxury hotels), and Roppongi Station. Also, less than 2 kms from Shibuya or Omote-Sando/Harajuku. The apartment is 101 square meters, with two spacious bedrooms, each of which have very comfortable queen-size beds. The apartment also includes two bathrooms, each with a shower, toilet, sink, etc. It also includes a full kitchen, living room and dining room.
Air conditioning / heater, wifi, washer and dryer, dishwasher and dishes, etc. also included. I can also provide the use of my bicycle, if requested -- biking is a great way to get around Tokyo.
If there are more than two guests, there is an additional guest fee of 2000 yen for each excess guest. However, this fee would be waived for up to one child. This is an honor system - we don't care about friends dropping by to hang out or crashing in the apt for a few hours, but if folks are staying here we would request that they be accounted for in the pricing.
This apartment is great for families with small children, two couples, or groups of friends. We can provide extensive restaurant recommendations (including options for kid-friendly restaurants), informed nightlife recommendations, help with restaurant and club bookings, and sightseeing recommendations.
Walter and his apartment were great, totally made our stay in Tokyo! The apartment is very centrally located and really big by any city standards, particularly Tokyo. I stayed there for a week with 3 other ladies, and we really appreciated having plenty of space to spread out and 2 full bathrooms. I'd highly recommend Walter as a host and the apartment in general.
Very good host and very good apartment, excellente location.
Walter made the whole process of booking the apartment a very easy and seamless procedure. The apartment was located diagonally opposite roppongi hills which made it very convenient for access to any part of Tokyo and it was really spacious and comfortable. The hosts also provided an extensive list of places for dining and partying. I would strongly recommend Walter's apartment !
Walter was a great host. The guys really enjoyed their staying in Tokyo thanks to him and the apartment.
Would recommend it to all!
The apartment was incredible: very spacious, well-located and closed to Roppongi station (5 minutes walking distance).
The hosts, Nathan & Walter, were amazing and gave us great instructions, tips and places were to go.
I will recommend this place to my friends.
Thank you again for everything!
Great, huge apartment in central Roppongi! Very comfortable place with all the amenities for a great stay. Great kitchen to cook your own meals, but plenty of eating and drinking options close by also. Highly recommended.
Walter and Nathan were excellent hosts. They were always in touch with us, before we arrived as well as while we were staying in their home. We were met at our drop off point from the airport, and he took us via taxi to the apartment. All directions, instructions for the apartment, and things in the area were all clearly written out for us upon arrival. They even rented a crib for our baby that was set up when we got there. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and in the ideal location in Tokyo. Thank you guys so much! I will definitely be recommending this space to my friends and family.
Super nice guy. Went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Perfect location for this apartment, literally a 3 minute walk to Roppongi Hills center.
Two short blocks away from Roppongi Hills this apartment is a fantastic find. The hosts were completely organized and clearly now how this stuff is supposed to be done.
The apartment is very large by Tokyo standards and everything was in solid working order.
I wasn't in the place much but when I was it felt like home and was a nice base for exploring Tokyo.
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Location was great since it's close to subway and there's a lot of restaurant and bars around. I would definitely come back if I decide to visit Tokyo again.
Overall I had a very comfortable stay. The only complaint I have is like what another reviewer has said, I had no idea how to operate the washing/drying machine and my clothes were still wet after multiple drying cycles in the dryer.
