The space

This is a 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom bungalow with all the conveniences of home located in central Austin. This home is filled with great natural light. Just minutes away from UT and downtown. Kitchen is fully equipped and includes a coffee maker and dishwasher. The bedrooms are light and airy perfect for a great nights sleep. Bathroom has a bathtub where you can either take a bath or shower. Near trendy restaurants on Anderson Lane like Cover 3, Hop Doddy's, and Alamo Draft House Movie Theatre. Also close to North Loop and Burnet Road where there are many unique shops and restaurants. Quiet neighborhood with many biking lanes. You can walk to the quaint Minimax grocery store or have pizza at The Little Deli which, in my opinion, is the best pizza in town. This place is ideal for corporate executives or visiting professors working in Austin temporarily. There is a washer/dryer in the garage. There is also a large backyard.

Mary's place is by far the best Airbnb experience we have ever had. Not only is the house super clean and cozy, but Mary was always quick to respond. We are every familiar with the neighborhood and it is a wonderful place for families. There are many bus stops throughout and the metro rail is nearby as well. Mary has everything you will need in the house. I highly recommend this place!

My husband and I stayed at Mary's place for several months. We needed a place in Austin to spend the weekends during the semester. The house is cute, very comfortable, clean, bright and pleasantly furnished. The posted photos are accurate. Our stay was great, and we would recommend Mary's place to anyone. The house is in a residential neighborhood roughly six miles north of Town Lake. There are lots of families and people out walking their dogs and biking around. We would take walks in the evenings, and it was very pleasant. The houses in the area are relatively close to each other, and you can occasionally hear the neighbors outside, but all in all it is a quiet residential neighborhood. We were able to read, work on projects and relax without problems. Mary is very responsive and helpful. There were a few things we needed in the house upon arrival, and Mary took care of them right away. We would definitely stay at Mary's place again.

We spent a month in the Brentwood Bungalow while closing out some business in Austin. A great stay for us, this home checked off all our requirements. It is convenient to downtown as needed while having the benefit of a quiet neighborhood home. The home has been updated so all fixtures and appliances are in great shape while the home retains the wood floors and phone box that are common in Austin homes of this era. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking which we did during our visit. We also enjoyed some neighborhood spots like the Little Deli and Thunderbird Coffee. The bed we used was comfortable. and the closets set with hangers, iron and ironing board. We made use of the second bedroom to spread out a bit while we repacked our belongings for a move. Internet was speedy. Laundry in the garage was very nice to have. The weather was cool most of our stay so we didn't really make use of the yard. Overall a great stay and would definitely rebooked with Mary!

Mary provided all the information I needed well in advance to find and access the property. She also included suggestions for local restaurants and retail. Very complete information made it easy to take advantage of all the comforts of home. Very well maintained and comfortable. Had everything I needed for an extended stay, including a desk to conduct calls and do paperwork, even a printer. Will definitely reserve again if available on my next visit to Austin.

The Brentwood Bungalow is really lovely. The house is well equipped, comfortable and in a great, quiet North Central neighborhood. Mary was very responsive and supportive through the reservation process including two date changes on my part, and was readily available throughout my stay while greatly respecting my privacy. The posted pictures and description are accurate. The house is full of natural light and the stained glass on the front and back doors gives it an extra cozy feeling. The bathroom is a bit small but the storage is good and everything works well. I greatly appreciated that the place was cleaned with natural products and that the beds were comfy. The neighborhood is very convenient and walkable with old trees, sidewalks and a small IGA and excellent deli (The Little Deli). I can’t say enough about how open, friendly, accommodating and respectful Mary has been to work with. I will check this house for availability first when I am heading back to Austin. Mary and her bungalow are excellent!

I am a native Austinite and love the 78704 area of town. There are so many things you can do near this home like jogging on Town Lake, rent segways and bikes, kayaking/canoeing, eat at one of the many restaurants or just hang out and listen to some of Austin's best live music. This home is 1.5 miles from Town Lake and downtown.
